The metro system isn't that complicated as you guys made it to be. You just needed to buy the ticket for the station at which you wanted to get out at,no need to buy tickets for line change stations , they are all connected , enter at starting station and exit at exit station. Google is really bad at giving directions ,just ask someone at the information desk .
I think we will learn over time we made a balls up but we got though it
You need a separate ticket for the aerocity metro, however, if you use a smartcard you just have to unlock it once from the inquiry to access all types of DMRC metro.
For Airport line, you have to take separate tickets, other than that you just need one ticket i.e. for your final destination. But if you have metro cards, you don't even need to buy tickets including for Airport line metro.
@@OTWD_ytjust try namo Bharat train and vande bhart train also it's supercool
Nowadays we can simply scan the barcode and get tickets on the app that's super duper easy! No fear of losing the ticket no waiting nothing 💓
You don't have to buy multiple tickets, a single ticket works in all lines. So no need to get out and buy another one, simply buy ticket for the destination station and change the line at any station.
Thank you 😊
@@OTWD_yt That way it will be cheaper too
works with every other line but orange line has a very distinct exit and entry procedure as it connects to the airport.
Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Kerala Oh my gawwddd...why do people avoid other places in India, so many beautiful places in Himachal, Odisha, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Daman and Diu, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Gujarat etc. states 😢
True When they Go to South they only Go to Kerala and TN, but totally ignore AP , which got everything thing from hilltops to rivers to valleys, beaches, temples, Caves, some of the beautiful villages and less tourism which is ideal for people who want to just enjoy, last year I visited Vizag one of most cleanest city in India, and apart from local people you won't find any tourist there..
Give us chance we’ve just got here 😂 we’ve been to all them places and we’re not going back to any of them it’s only new places
@@OTWD_yt I m not blaming you, just an observation, all foreign tourists flock to these places and make the same content a thousand times 😆 they call Indian Subcontinet for a reason, its huge not represented by Delhi, Mumbai or Kerala...there are beaches way way better and less crowded than Maldives, Deserts of Rann of Kutch in Gujarat that can beat Dubai, Snow and Winters of Kashmir & Himachal Pradesh that are highest in d world and dense Jungles of Odisha & North East...every place is equally developed an convenient for tourism 👍 Maybe they aren't marketed well, that might be d reason.
@@naninani1549 Puducherry hands down beat Tamil Nadu anyday and Andhra Pradesh will beat Karnataka & Kerala, extremely underrated states 😶
Give them a chance fella!!!,... I bet you haven't been to bedhampton,.. just chill and enjoy life xxx

Please visit north east India 🇮🇳
I know we’re moving around keep watching ❤️
DMRC doesn't actually allows filming metro stations and inside metro due different security reasons, however nobody actually follow the rule.

No need to exit every time whenever you change train. Follow footsteps on the floor (yellow, blue footsteps etc) to change the platform. don't exit ok. All lines are connected. It will cost you more if you exit-enter every time. Maximum price for delhi metro is around ₹60 if you re-enter metro will charge you more...

Here is some more trivia for your viewers.
India’s first metro service (tubular rail / underground rail) started way back on 29th October 1984. It started in Kolkata and the service then covered only a stretch that catered to 17 stations. By 1995 that was extended to a distance of 16.45 km. Today metro service in India also goes right below a river - the Hooghly river. A river tunnel was constructed underneath Hooghly River for this purpose. It is the biggest underwater river tunnel of India, which was made for metro rail service.
We are going to Kolkata I’m thinking to try there metro too?
Really that in India amazing

If you want Switzerland type of place go to Himachal pradesh or mostly North-east side of states.
Thank you 😊
I think you guys just got a bit confused because of the Airport Metro. The thing is, Airport Metro is not connected to the DMRC integrated metro system because they don't want the usual Delhi Metro rush using the Airport Metro just for traveling. And honestly, the Airport Metro was a private service started by Reliance (owned by the richest man in India), and then later on DMRC bought it's operations. So, you do actually have to exit the Airport Metro first in order to get into other Metro lines.
Plus, ig you can buy tickets online, or you can get a Metro Smart Card (acceptable at DMRC, Airport Metro, and Rapid Metro as well (Gurugram metro, comes under HMRC), which you can recharge overtime.
Hope that helps.
Great video nonetheless 👏
P.S., ignore any hate comments.
Thank you 😊 yes it does and its all love from my end if people wanna leave hate that’s there own issues 😂
Utarakhand, kashmir, himachal are best places to visit in this summer..
You dont have to buy multiple tickets or exit everytime at the transit. 😅
If you want want to change line you not needed to get out the station. All interchange are well connected to each other you have only flow foot steps of that colour.
👍👍
One more thing, I appreciate you guys for exploring India. Just wanted to say that no country is perfect, everyone has its flaws, rich and poor, good people bad people. India is a totally different country than rest of the world in terms of everything. My tip to you is to just unlearn every thing bad you've heard from western media and just experience the freshness, the joyous, the rush and good hearts of India and I promise you'll have a great experience here. Make it your own experience.
also add Jallianwala Bagh in Punjab to your bucket list

India has 15 cities connected with world class metro and by 2030 another 16 cities are expected to get as per govt data delhi ncr, hyderabad Bengaluru area longest and best metro service in india as of now and all are extending by 2030 India's railways with new trains bullet train will be running, roads all express highways and tunnel bridges underwater subways will be completed few are done, Aviation with new terminals and airports will be completed, india will be totally changed and most of the work will be completed and world class by 2030 jaihind🇮🇳. I am surprised to see rickshaw in Delhi in south major cities rickshaw are not seen only in villages that to very less here and there most of them changed to electric or diesel autos
Next time whenever you take a metro, just check online options where you can buy tickets directly from your mobile. Also, just say the last station adn take a single ticket, internally everything is connected so you do not need to but separate tickets everytime. Or you can take a smart card from any of the stations and got it recharged, you can use it at all stations.
👍👍❤️❤️
You guys can get a card & the hassle for tickets would be not there also you need only get the ticket for the destination not every station. Also instead of Google Maps, DMRC maps are much more convenient for the Delhi Metro.
Just buy a single ticket next time, directly to the destination, you don't have to buy tickets again and again.
Or have a metro card 💳 with top up balance just with 50 Rs Extra and you save 10% fare and from queues.
Also, Metro online app booking also convenient.
👍👍
Actually most locals even don't know but for Airport line you need to get a different ticket and for all other lines, you just need only one ticket.
Also did you guyz changed your accomodations last minute bcz that didn't seem a hotel at all.I think is was just a normal apartment without tenant can't say overcharged since it is nearly the same or less the amount you would pay for airbnb.
We explain it in the video.

So you were in Mahipalpur, New Delhi. It's where I live, near aerocity.
Yes we were there for 2 nights
IMPORTANT --> Hey guys, i liked your vlog but i think since you're in Delhi, you should know how metro works. Here's the details in short... Go to the nearest metro station, buy the ticket for DESTINATION metro station... then get into the metro and to swap the metro lines (like from red to yellow or yellow to orange) just go to different platform or different floor in the same station where you have to swap the lines, BUT DO NOT EXIT THE STATION AND BUY ANOTHER TICKETS AGAIN AND AGAIN.... you can literally go from first station to last station without exiting station even once.... just buy destination station ticket and swap platforms to change lines
I live in Delhi too
Yes that’s the same as London. Thank you I can remember it for next time.
This is only applicable for all the metro lines except the airport express line (orange line). If you want to use the airport express line then you have to exit and buy a sperate ticket and enter again. Vice versa at the time of exit from airport express line as well. Although if you have Delhi metro card you can use the same card on airport line and all other lines as well.
This is because airport express line has a seperate fare structure than other metro lines.

AFIK, the airport line is an independent line and does not connect internally. All the other lines, colour coded, do connect internally and one ticket will work end to end. For you, the yellow and blue lines would have worked seamlessly. Yes, google maps on android works far better than on iphones and generally gets confusing in the final minutes, when you need it most.
❤️👍👍
It takes a day or two to get used to metro in Delhi, then Delhi becomes easy to traverse. I recommend you make contents of rural India, too much contents of cities like Delhi, Kolkata. Would recommend Himalayan states like Himachal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh now that spring is here they are blooming with different coloured flowers on trees, you will not regret that. Or you can head to lovely rural areas of coastal states.
