That was on low boost. We are running much faster now. 3.2x seconds 100-200 km/h. Still that is and was 1/2 mile world record for 992s

Why whithout launch control?
Entre más potencia halla batallara más para la tracción haciéndolo más lento, por eso stock con 650 caballos de fuerza hace 2.7 de media a 0 100, con 1050 hace 3.0 de media, con un alerón más grande o en general más downforce controlado, podría ser con aerodinámica activa podría aprovechar todo su potencial en hp y no perderlos derrapando a la salida
Too much wheelspin.. Should be running low to bottom 9s.. Try short shifting to prevent/mitigate wheelslip as well as not banging the rev limiter.. (Needs a better driver). Also, from the thumbnail atleast, it seems the car is running Michelin PS4S tires and some unnecessary heavy wheels.. Running something like Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (disable stability control fully and launch to spin all four wheels to clean/heat the tires) on the standard wheels would be beneficial to performance..
A standard 992 Turbo S is capable of a 10.1.. Even a 20% increase in torque and power output should put the car into the 9.7x - 9.8x segment easily.. So pushing up to 1000+ should get you to 9.2x at least.. (Again, driver launch strategy and finding ways to optimize traction).
Idk what tuning house built this Porsche but it's definitely not the fastest or quickest lol..
@@ZephyrCorsahe didn’t use launch control and has wheelspin. He did a shitty 0-100kmh that’s why. A 1000hp turbo S like this with launch control and no wheelspin would do like 2.2s 0-100kmh with a good launch and so will have a low 9s 1/4mile
We know all that..but was just some test runs as car was just finished before the event. Low boost and we did not accelerate hard as on 1/2 mile events makes not much sense. Still we got the word record top speed for standing half mile for 992s worldwide. Wheels and tires are just our street setup and we didn’t need to change to break the record.
More to come next season with changes tires and more power
@@ZephyrCorsasimilar setup already ran 8.7 quarter mile in the US..but this is a 1/2 mile event so top speed after 804m is what counts
