HI Kate, we didn't get the Travel Mate 30 in Canada, but we do have it's sister machine, the C30, which I've featured on Magical Machine Mystery Tour. It was only once, however, so I can definitely do more as it's a very versatile machine. Thank you for the suggestion and thank you for sharing the Janome Love!
@@janomehqjanomecanada4908 Hi, Thank you for responding so quickly! I am so excited about getting down to business and learning all about my Travel Mate 30. I purchased it because it was light enough for me to lift, I finally got rid of my old Singer - it was heavy. I tried to find the Magical Machine Mystery Tour but couldn't. Can you help me????? Thanks!
I have the 6600. I want to have an adjustable ditch foot or edge foot for top stitching. Am I able to use the even feed foot with the ditch quilting guide on the 6600? Or only the Acufeed feet? Also, is there such a thing as a narrow Teflon/non-stich zipper foot for the 6600? I appreciate you! Thank you for all the wonderful videos.
Thank you very much for the giveaways! Thank you for making the videos, I find them very helpful. I have the Memory Craft 9850, special edition. May I please ask which sewing machine is closest to mine that I may watch their tutorials to learn how to use the built-in features? I would love to see embroidery tutorials of the designs on the sewing machine. I would like to learn about which stabilizers work best with the Janome. Thank you for the information on the walking feet because I bought the wrong one. I also bought the wrong fabric guide. I'm very lucky I didn't damage my machine because I did not manually hand crank the wheel before I started. The sewing machine was like a little jackhammer and almost made it through the plexiglass.
Thank you sew much for your feedback, Barbara! I sew appreciate your suggestions. I featured the MC9850 on a previous Janome's Magical Machine Mystery Tour episode, but, given it's such an extensive, versatile machine, I will definitely show it again to go over more of it's features. It shares many features of the Skyline S9 and MC15000, both of which were also featured on Magical Machine Mystery Tour, so perhaps you'll find watching those presentations helpful in the meanwhile. Happy Sewing!
I'm very frustrated. The Janome website says that none of the even feed feet are compatible with my machine, a MemoryCraft 9850. I would very much appreciate your telling me which one/s I can use on it so I can order one? I know my old Janome walking foot is not compatible as I tried it already. That machine is decades old.
Yes! The same Even Feed Foot I demoed on the HD-9 will also work on the 1600P. The Convertible Even Feed foot set won't work on the high-speed models. Happy Sewing!
I have a vintage New Home 510. I can not find information on it anywhere. Can you help me find a user manual or a vedio on it. Also would this feed work on it. Thank you
HI Bonnie - I tried Google with these results, which I'm not sure is your exact machine as that is indeed quite vintage, and well before my time with Janome, but please have a look just in case. manualsoncd.com/product/new-home-janome-sanko-507-508-509-510-sewing-machine-manual/ ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=janome+new+home+510
What if you are working with a front load bobbin type, 20 year old Jenome classic machine? The website does not have a single search result for my 344XL. I’m hoping Jenome isn’t a throw-away culture corp like so many today. Let me tell you, she still purrs like a kitten and I want to keep my machine.
Front loading machines are low shank, like the HD1000 machine I demoed on in the video. You could use the Convertible Even Feed Foot set I demoed with your machine. Janome just celebrated 100 years last year, so we aren't throwing anything away, least of all our machines, most of which will be around long after we're gone. Keeping up regular cleaning and servicing will definitely improve it's longevity, so you've got many more years to enjoy your machine with lots of available accessories from Janome dealers. Happy Sewing!
Yes! Sew simple! All Janome sewing machines have this simple feature, yet it's so effective when changing the presser feet and when feeding thicker layers.
I'm in the U.S. with a new Janome, and I love your videos!
THANK YOU SEW MUCH, Lori! I so appreciate the feedback! Congratulations on your new machine! Happy Sewing!
I'm not a quilter but would like to try a walking foot attachment for my Janome HT2008LE to sew with knits. Which one would be the best?
I would like to see more about the Jerome Travel Mate 30 please🤗

Hello the extra presser foot lift is that just pushing the lever higher? The presser foot lifter?
Yes, every Janome sewing machine has this feature.
