    These planted flower strips are far better than grass margins. This is what the subsidies should be paid for.

    This is Briliant! Its great to have Grey Partridges around! Here is a tip for any farmer or land owner. If you need to cut your hedges. Just cut one third every year so each part only gets cuts once every three years! it will keep your hedges super healthy! and full of flowers on two thirds of your hedge each year. Imagine 2-3 miles on a farm of flowering healthy hedge. Hawthorn Blackthorn and Pyracantha is perfect for bees and birds providing an abundance of flowers and berries and safe nesting sites for birds.

    Well said Boyce, leave the hedges alone! Every 3 years is plenty for cutting and when you do give them a trim don't be too severe: let them grow to a decent height and leave some specimens to grow to full height. Loved the video.
