Sony FX30 Interview and behind the scenes setup

As you can tell I am making it up as i go along. I do need some acting lessons!

Why do you use Zoom recorder passthrough? Do you gain noticeable camera audio amp noise reduction?

Actually the audio I used for the Interview part was from the Camera which was feed from the Zoom/shotgun mic. I thought it was good and didn't notice any camera pre-amp noise.
I am picky about audio. I had an audio production company in Hollywood for 20 years so I think audio is so important to get right.
I tested the different input levels and for me about 8 was the sweet spot. (FX30)

What tripod’s are you using

SmallRig AD-100 and AD-01
The AD-100 is much better but of course more expensive.

ambitful looks like sunlight hardly noticed
