- If you have any questions regarding the room, I am happy to answer them! While the newer buildings do have moveable furniture, most are similar in size... primarily: Kohl Hall, McDonald Hall, & Conklin Hall.

you need to swipe your key fob like 4 times before getting up to my floor and an actual key to unlock my room door where i have mace inside

Ashley Shanks Yes! The beds can most certainly be delofted, if you check out my Vlogmas episodes or some of my more recent videos you can see what it would look like.
Are you able to half loft the beds or can it only be all the way up or down. Also how do you get up there. The ladder side seems tricky
It can only be all the way up or all the way down, but when its all the way down there is still quite a bit of space underneath it for storage. Some people had their beds down with a mini fridge still underneath it. Hope that is helpful.
I am thinking of applying to BGSU this fall. I am stuck on which Residence Hall I like the best. The suite styled rooms look nice but the Kohl Hall is also one of my top choices. Do you have any tips on how to choose or have you experienced any of the different sized rooms? Thanks!
Kirsten Jones All of the rooms are going to be extremely similar in size, the differences are going to be based on location and preferences within the room. I liked that my building was close to the gym, so in the winter I didn't even have to wear a coat, I just crossed the street and entered. Kohl Hall is awesome because it's close to everything though, so your commute to class would be maybe 5 minutes max (unless you are a music student). Mine were 10 minutes max, but the class that took 10 minutes to get to was on the complete opposite end of campus, so still not a bad walk. Suite Style are by far what I would consider the "nicest" but you definitely pay for that primary price,. I loved my building, personally! This is Kreischer. If you are living in Kreischer you want to pick Batchelder, then Ashley, then either Compton or Darrow. That's the order based on how nice they are haha.
Okay, so this might sound kind of weird, but I'm thinking about rooming in Kreisher next year, and I was wondering how you get your other closet door open if it's squished up against those drawers...Also, can you move the furniture around, or is it fixed in place.
Iggle Piggle You can't open the other side. It goes back all the way but only opens from the left side. The furniture is stuck the way it is but it's really not that bad. It's more space than you would think.

I'll be coming to BGSU this fall... The dorms are seperate for girls and boys ryt? What's the distance from dorm room to student union?
shefali singh The individual rooms are and so are the bathrooms but it depends which residence hall you are living in for the distance. They are all less than 10 minutes.
