    You explain the positions very well to people by showing them one by one. When you show him like this instead of praising him directly, people understand how talented he is. You are doing your job very well. Bravo.

    It is so much fun to watch Alpi. This guy is full of potential and good moves. By the way, the current games are not friendlies actually. They are for the stage-1 competition for trying to qualify for the Olympics that will be held in Paris next summer. If Turkey win this stage -1 competition, they are going to play again next July with other stage-1 winners in a tournament to reduce the final participants to 12 or so teams.

    Its great to see Alpi getting better, if he starts hitting 35-36 from three ,that might be all star level player. The turkey coach also does a good job of maximizing his strengths, he looks comfortable playing the 4, I think it will be interesting to see if Rockets can use some of these plays and add them to the playbook. Also Jabari at the 5 in stretches with Alpi initiating the offense at the 4 on both offense and defense will definitely be interesting. Great video breakdown Frank.

    I’m a Turkish Australian, been following ALP progress with the rockets from the beginning, been a fan of NBA since79 , so when l see a prospect like ALP l get excited. I hope he can perform & excite us with his no look passing, good luck 🚀. Just one thing, this is not a friendly Frank , otherwise love watching your videos. Great commentary.👍

    Yurtseven is a rebound beast he was free agent and comperatively cheaper than Landale but Rockets did let go of Garuba and ignored signing him. They could have Duncan-D.Robinson and Draymond Green potentials with lowest cap space.Alpi is evolving into a diligent Jokic hope he doesnt get injured.

    • @hakuliaksu7800

      Rockets' G-League team (RGV Vipers) should sign Sadik Emir Kabaca and Ercan Osmani to a one-year deal. Two players who Alperen spent his whole Turkish career playing with between Bandirma Kirmizi, Banvit and Besiktas. If either of them works out, the experiment could be a phenomenal result on the NBA court for the Houston Rockets.

    If he can really get into the Dirk fade off the dribble, league over. You can't do anything but deny him the ball at that point, or else you're getting cooked.

  • @aerob1033
    @aerob1033 Рік тому +2

    Sengun is looking much more explosive, both quickness and verticality. The shot is coming along, some of those little fadeaways were sick. The conditioning has clearly improved by the way he's been able to sustain his defensive effort late into games. I'm getting more and more sold on Sengun with every game. I will never predict that any player becomes a multi-time MVP until they're in the top 3 for MVP voting, so I'm not going to go quite that far, but I will say that I can easily see him capping out halfway between Julius Randle/Domantas Sabonis on the low end and Nikola Jokic on the high end, and making All-NBA teams in his prime.

  • @aylinyaman7885
    @aylinyaman7885 Рік тому +2

    One small correction though. You referred to this game as “friendly game”. It is not. It is the Olympic pre-qualifications tournament. The games with Poland were warm-up, friendlies for this tournament, but the Iceland and the Bulgaria games as well as this Ukraine game were part of the tournament. Friday is semi-finals day for Türkiye. If we succeed and pass this tournament, then we will be moving onto attend the qualifications tournament next year. So this is”pre-qualifications”. All of this just to get a spot in the Olympics for us, Turks. 😬😬

    His play in these friendlies just reenforce my think on Alpi needing be a 4.. for Sengun to hit his max potential he’ll need to play the 4/5.. that’ll put in a position to where he’s impossible to play off the court.. a respectable jumper and able to survive on the perimeter while defending the rim decently similar to Al Horford will make Alpi a star 🔥
