Hot weather, dead trees from pine beetles as well as years of human interfering with the natural cycle of forests by stopping fires. This situation could have been avoided by learning from the past an enacting different strategies, instead of that they have done the exact opposite and now because of that negligence I've lost my life as I once knew it.
Also this is widely known that the Alberta government has been cutting the forest fire budget for years while the amount and strength of fires increases exponentially.
