It should also be noted it requires an attack to knock you back to cancel the skill, a little hit or a block and you're fine etc
How u get frost craft while u use magatsu armor?
@@SoulS467 new melding makes God charms
@@Blood_Ronin vigor quiro??
Good to know, sounds like a fun one for the lance then
So poison, bloodblight, bloodlust, dereliction is fine? Thanks mate
The infinite sharpness + the skill not being interrupted when you block makes me think that it will pair up nicely with the gunlance
OOOO! I didn't think of that, nice call
Was looking for this comment!
@@destinystriumph1573 it also reload all the shell and stake too!
Now it just depends on what shelling type it is, if it's long shelling then we've found our true bullet barrage weapon
Lance as well, aggro lance might get pretty fun and dangerous with this skill specially if you are adept to insta-blocking. So I'm glad both Lance and Gunlance got a pretty OP skill with Amatsu 😊
Just imagine the towns people going, "Whats that new smell?"
"Oh, that's my new armor with the Heaven sent skill. Like it?"
"You smell like a dead elder dragon. How long ago was that?"
"This morning."
Armor looks interesting. Gunlance is the only Amatsu weapon I'm really considering. That affinity loss is pretty rough but it doesn't impact shelling and being able to spam a buffed bullet barage sounds delightful. I hope everyone equips a shockproof deco lol
You alone use shockproof is enough actually. Because your attack will not affect others
@@handsomejack672 what’s the difference between shockproof and flinch free?
@@handsomejack672 Ah, good to know! I misunderstood the skill description
@@tomasvillamizar6970 Flinch Free means you aren't affected by other people's knockbacks and stuff.
Shockproof means everyone else isn't affected by your stuff.
@@tomasvillamizar6970 So either you put shockproof on your gunlancer build (1x lvl1 deco) or all the others put flinch free on their builds or rage against you... I will put shockproof on my gunlance build just in case ^^
From my short exp with using Heaven-sent, you have to be damaged by something that will knock you down or send you flying for the buff to get cancelled. so if you have intrepid heart ready, you can get hit by something big but heaven-sent will not be gone. And going by this, sonic barrier from HH will prolly save heaven-sent.
I also exp'd that if bazel does her fly over while dropping shid, heaven-sent will be cancelled. 😅
ty. some people seem to misunderstand the skill. I've only seen it go when I get bowled over.
played around it for a lil bit and Heaven Sent feels so good for dual blades and the slots in it is pretty good
I appreciate how a major difference in the model is that its whiskers are longer. Quite distinguished
RIGHT
Still need 3 more Horns for his gear. The first 4 were reserved for his Insect Glaive.
Really want to test "Heaven Sent" out for myself.
Heaven sent, maximum might and wind mantle might make for a good test for how I like to play. I also think latent power is an underrated skill because each level is 10% affinity while active for every point invested and stamina boost too. I usually have it to at least level 3 on my bow builds for that reason.
On GL and Lance this is infinite sharpness and your blocks can NEVER get broken by stamina depletion which multi hit moves love to do in sunbreak.
Also infinite power guard sounds amazing
This armor with the new rampage deco for Lance is actually pretty insane. I got Guard & Guard Up at Max, Embolden, Kushala Blessing, Blood Rite (which honestly I might be overkill) and then Heaven Sent and literally just block/stab/block/stab on the monster and it actually works really well. I used it against the Risen Shagaru Magala and outside of gaps in my skill it was a pretty reasonable fight :D
Dual Blades go brrrr now?
I normally used aerial for the i frames but I can use the helmet and the ground build for more dmg now
It’s interesting that the amatsu weapons do do anything with the heaven-sent skill. In fact it might be better to use the silk bind buffing amatsu weapons with a different armor set that also interacts with silk bind moves or wire bugs like for example the topic of the next video risen shageru magala… 🤔
New maxi is insane, i have talis frostcraft+2 attack+3 3 slot lv2 wtf
How u get frostcraft+2?where
@@SoulS467 i am also interested
Once you beat amatsu and meet the threshold of quiro hunting, quiro melding will be available. These talis are indeed insane. My best one so far is dragonheart 4, powder mantle 1, 3/2/1. Like gd.
They can roll for every skill in the game up to TU4, including dragon conversion, frostcraft, furious, etc.
I’m glad that Amatsu is finally getting some love. For some reason, very few people even know about him when MHP3 came out back (yet they know Zinogre?)
Zinogre was the flagship monster for mhp3rd and it's one of the first monsters you encounter, so it's no surprise more people knew about him than Amatsu who was never mentioned until much later in the game. And come on, he is an electric doggo with a badass theme, he was bound to be more popular than Amatsu.
@@justyouraveragegamer5065 you also fight Zinogre way sooner than Amatsu, in P3rd Amatsu is literally the final boss and "hidden" behind completing the entirety of high-rank, plus the game doesn't have online play (only local) so many people may have just never done much of high-rank, also doesn't help that P3rd was never localized, so most western players only played Tri and 3U, both of which didn't have Amatsu but did have Zinogre AND a subspecies of Zinogre on 3U.
It's because MHP3 was only released in Japan
This skill is really good for db and maybe IG with that infinite stamina thing and the armor slots are really good imo I’m not disappointed in this update so far
Here's another nice thing - the level 1 and 2 versions of the skill work with Grinder (S) and the Ibushi melee weapons! So now all you need to do is get down to blue sharpness, do a Switch Skill Swap while the skill is active to get back to purple, and boom! Grinder (S) activates and you're back to full sharpness in much less time that even Speed Sharpening 3!
I'm really eyeing those legs for my Longsword builds, two crit boost and two fours is a lot to work with, and even as a one-off the free rapid sharpen and mini-Intrepid Heart seem really tempting to me.
Duel blades be like RULES OF NATURE on monsters with the skill plus the amatsu helm 😂
Shit we got gear review already! Thanks for the content ❤
Most likely undperforming here as a SA main but once that buff kicks in I can zsd spam without having to worry as that eat sharpness then when I'm on ground doing combo swap to invincible gambit and super armor through nearly all attacks and just gives me this feel of hell yes, I really do like this heaven sent skill it feels really really solid
If LBG can get infinite Sticky Ammo using this armor, it'll definitely be an investment for people who love to run those kinds of builds.
I'm going to try with with lbg
But for what I understand, you actually need to sheath the gun to use swap skill, so you're losing DPS for to load just 3 stickys with AMMO UP 3
I see your light bowgun and raise you infinite wyvern fire frostcraft hbg.
You have to sheath to swap scrolls on BG (gun out will just melee) so unless you are running a slow reload gun with max sheathing instead of reload speed deco's just reloading will be faster. As far as using ammo, you can instant craft ammo using the quick menu allowing you to double the ammo for slicing and more the double for every rank 2 or 3 ammo.
@@helios5752 So there is no point right? in use this in HBG or even LBG, it will be slow than just reload 90% of the time
I made a db build yesterday using this armor and I can confirm this skill is completely and utterly broken :D I went against risen shagaru for the first time and absolutely annihilated it. It pairs extremely well with intrepid heart as it isn't damage itself that cancels the effect but the damage reaction so you can keep going evem after taking a hit. I play classic db and as long as I'm agressive enough I basically have perma unlimited stamina and sharpness, it's completely disgusting, lol.
As a bow main, I was very excited to make a build around this skill. But here's the thing:
If you plan to not get hit, why won't you rather use berserk & strive instead? You don't have to wait 30 sec for infinite stamina and get a +20% elemental buff in addition. Furthermore the damage reduction from heaven-sent is pointless too as berserk makes you invincible anyway.
This has been a nuts skill I usually find myself only getting hit 3-4 times a hunt on insect glaive if I know the monster and having infinite stamina let's me go nuts in the air/on the ground. I was also able to keep my damage by dropping a bit of critical eye for it and toss in maximum might to make up for the affinity loss.
I don't know if you noticed but in the video, you also recover your LBG's mines. You can spam mines like there's no tomorrow now.
I cannot wait to fight this masterpiece of a HUNT TODAY!! The hype is nuclear!! And I can’t wait to see your video of the hunt! It’ll be FATALIS levels of epic!
Amatsu armor skill: aerial insect glaive spam mode activated
Given how much I move around with the DB this seems like a fun thing to try out
When trying out the Heaven-Sent skill myself with the bow i found out something that is a big dealbreaker for me on the skill. I use a Pierce Bow with Evade Extender 2 for reference. In a lot of cases the monster would leap away from me and because of that a part of the Fine Print of the skill would trigger, namely the fact that "If you stray too far from the monster, the skill deactivates" and this seems to happen a lot during hunts, so often in fact that i'd spend more time with the skill inactive than active.
Maybe something to look into?
The skill also only seems to be deactivated when getting knocked back, not when receiving damage - does that mean intrepid heart might cancel this out?
Not sure if someone already said this, but it's not taking damage the ends the Heaven-sent state, it's getting launched
I just used a multitude of silkbinds that give hyper armor and still had Heaven-sent active after being damaged
the recover ammo is still what im still testing if it actually give infinite on ammo well some ammo like cluster and sticky will become overpowered because those 2 are the only ammo that is very limited, majority of ammo is usually 99x craftable or i should say its kinda infinite because you don't need 99x crafts to kill a monster, even 4x monsters.
elemental ammo in the other hand does need it quite a bit.
for bow we allready got infinit stamina on nephilim armor, wich is not realy exchaingable. u could try risen valstrax in combo with heavens send but ud need one of those skills in an augment or talisman to make it work.
Infinite stamina for Bows and Dual Blades is not really a big draw since Strife/Berserk does the same thing but also gives you 20% element and the cleansing in skill swapping is already available on Quick Breath if I really valued it (which I do and already use). But hey if you get a godlike talisman with Strife/Berserk maybe this would be a nice add on. But I’d more invest in looking at Frenzied Bloodlust.
Heaven-Sent is so good for Lance with the new lance rampage deco. I have my new endgame set and its name is TURTLE!
I'm honestly surprised they didn't add a skill that allowed elemental weapons to occasionally inflict the corresponding blight. There's still the malzeno variant coming in June, but I don't think his skills will be element focused
The set is fun. Tried it with DB I added evade extender and dodge everything that 2 furious rajang throws at me
My current dualblade set is literally all evasion and stam efficiency... so, yeah... I can make that skill work wonders lol.
I think I will be about heaven sent once I get a tali that gives me super recovery, my build right now is a heavy crit focused long sword demi god build, not quite immortal, but I definitely only use potions facing certain heavy hitters like amatsu or the various sub species in rise, for the most part I just ignore damage altogether, if I could get the super recovery on thanks to the new tali's in a more efficient manner I would definitely take heavens sent, I don't get hit frequently enough to lose it, and the card specifies taking a heavy enough hit/knock back, both of which my build is specifically catered to not take by sheer defensive numbers and skills, I can see the infinite sharpness and stamina being incredibly useful given my current play style is very much, get lots of crits spamming Sakura slash to speed run to red gauge then use ancient sheathe full charge and then slide around the battle field till I get an opening to get my juicy juicy 900+ damage numbers, infinite stamina would make my play style hundreds of times more effective, part of my problem for a while has been never having enough stamina to comfortably close the gap with slippy slides, on top of constantly having to slow my roll and subsequently often the only damage taken being taken while trying to sharpen, this skill is way better than the skill card was selling to me
Going to be some time before I get everything, but I am curious to see how this applies to Lance.
If a monster’s hit drains stamina and you have infinite stamina, would this mean you have become an unbreakable wall? I’m sure if a monster’s hit can do chip damage, that would knock you out of having the benefit, but if you have some guard up with guard, this could very well becomes the ultimate in defensive hunting (or to set up a build that could divert the monster’s attention towards you and away from other hunters).
It seems that guarding will not make you lose it, no matter what. It's apparently only going to deactivate if you get launched.
Heaven-sent sounds like such a fun Skill for Aerial IG. Rise and Sunbreak already gave us the Skies. But having infinite Stamina for it while dealing even more damage with Diving Wyvern thanks to Amatsu's weapon? Talk about tempting. That said, I'd probably only go for one Level of the Skill, MAYBE two. For the full Critical Boost. Add the new Frenzy Bloodlust, a rank in Windmantle, full Wirebug Whisperer. There's a playstyle in this. Will it be optimal? I doubt it with that -25% Affinity. Will it be fun? Oh, I expect it to.
8:49 was it just a coincidence he got his LBG mine back when he scroll swapped? Lol
As a hot-headed HH main, this, sonic barrier, and intrepid heart are heaven sent. 👌👌👌
I am doing quite third thing positively! Thanks for asking!
Shield Tackle is a switch skill right? That with this skill, paired with an amatsu lance weapon, PLUS the guard damage rampage skill means lance is prettyyy good
For duel blades, that could be really good
For bowgunners, does it pull ammo out of nowhere when you skill swap or does it take it from ur inventory?
Seems Heaven Sent and Intrepid Heart to prevent knockbacks will be a good combo. It's interesting it has built in quick breath as well since I love using quick breath as a free 3 slot whenever I can.
This is the best thing that could happen to the insect glaive
sounds good on insect glaive
Must know if there is an update to the immortal build! Especially a build that works with any weapon style.
Still need the gem whatever from Amatsu to make the last armor piece of the set. All that evade window and stamina consumption nullification? Gimme.
Dont remember which one but there was a dbz fighting game where loading screens with simple animations like Goku eating plates of rice, and you could button mash top make him eat more rice that was really dumb but fun seeing how many plates you could make him eat
Hmmmm heavenly sent plus intrepid heart for lbg pierce spam may be the way
The comfiest of comfy skills
Evade lancers going crazy
As a lance main, infinite sharpness and infinite stamina as long as I am not trash at the game sounds good.
This will be fun for us dual blades lol
I cant wait till this update comes to ps5 so I can mess around with this kinda build. This might make me love dual blades again.
I'll take my risen shaggy. The 4 wire bugs is to nice.
Gotta see if an Intrepid heart/Heaven Sent build works well with Glaive then...
worth noting gunlance doesn't care for affinity :D im hitting 3k dmg with the all out art (don't know the english name)
Dual Blade with infinite Demon Mode, kinda OP.
It's now that I'm realizing that it would work great with peak performance
New immortal build when I love those
It’s a choice between heaven sent and berserk strife?
Lonsword doesn't have much benefit since it's more about counters than evades and sharpness isn't usually a problem, but the again as a longsword main I can happily say longsword is still great (counter city never closes)
infinite piercing dragon or dragon ammo, it might be worth it as element does so much.
I wonder about heavens ascent use for the immortal build
Time to redo my max evade window DB set that activates 3 skills on dodges then
I wonder if this skill will be the key to the bow surpassing the bow-guns
Not really, berserk already exists lol
If you're seeking infinite stamina, we already have Chaotic Gore set.
heaven sent is a god send to charge blade users that like chainsaw mode. combine this with intrepid heart and powder mantle.
This sounds fun for IG.
Im hitting harder and consistent damage using Amatsu IG via Diving Wyvern silkbind skill better than Chameleos/Magna IG Status buildup boost build. Also paired it up with berserk+strife set for unli stamina, haha Aerial IG kinsect slash to DW go brrrr…
For BG it's hardly infinite, you have to sheath then scroll swap to get your ammo back. It's faster to just reload. If they made it so that ammo didn't decrease while it was active it maybe good but this doesn't feel useful to BG except in extreme niche gimmick builds
What you mean we can only use build up boost with amatsu?
See I have a different question when thinking about Heaven Sent, How many seconds in eternity?
i find it kinda weird that the Amatsu-Armor gives more critdamage while the weapon has negativ affinity
"Reloads ammo and restores sharpness"
WELL I KNOW WHAT IM SLAPPING ON MY GUNLANCE BUILD
Josh, WE NEED a new BEST Greatestsword build.
+ an easy 30% affinity from max might bc of unlimited stamina
Can Heaven-Sent be Qurios Crafted on to other armors?
How do you get that windy aura?
Oh damn, insect glaive air god???
I doubt heaven sent will have much of an effect on bow. By the point you can get the skill you will already have a build that has functionally infinite stamina and higher damage.
Which is what this comes down to, the people who could make use of heaven sent don’t need it. It’s seems like too much of a commitment especially when you take into consideration qurio crafting on armour.
wait, buldup boost works on amatsu weapon?
Not really useful for guns. We don't really need stamina much, and the Scroll Swap reload will always be slower than fast/fastest reload.
dual blades are now having infinite demon mode interesting
I think lvl 2 is as far as ill go if i do use this
Me as a dual blade main saw the skill name with the infinite stamina....
Really is Heaven-sent!
So far I am using S.trigger/A.Rush/B.Hone, so the damage is really not bad, and more of the relax and easy hunt.
But I also notice that it can be a problem against some monster like Tigrex/Diablos, monster that move around a lot and hard to get close. Though since I used to dodging most of the time in MH, I find it`s really a good skill to use, as evading/dodge also use stamina, on top of D.fury.
If the goal is highest damage speed run then no. However have fun, play kill monsters in reasonable time and look cool. lose or gain 10-15 damage that’s pretty negligible imo.
Gunlance mains laughing hysterically
sadly
I play crit draw
and I can't sacrifice my frostcraft for the sharpness
Frostcraft can be found on the new Qurio charms, by the way! I think it's also possible to get through Qurious Crafting, too.
😂 hes like the numbers are on the way ( aka ) [ waiting on Ang beta video 😂😂😂 ]
Heaven Sent is a trap. In its current form, acquiring the armor set only serve as a teaser for people who haven't done too much anomaly quests. It takes up three armor pieces but offers a ton of lvl three and four decos slots for customization. However, in order to make Heaven Sent work with any build, you would need to also be able to make Attack Jewel +4 and Expert Jewel +4, both requires you to grind all the way to the end of the anomalies research tree to get. So after finally finishing the Amatsu farm and getting the necessary pieces, you realize that the true grind has only begun. Of course, you could just forget about Heaven Sent and leave it in storage. Just play the game normally until you finally reach the stage where you acquire all the pieces for it to work. Although by the time you could actually make Heaven Sent work, you would have already sunk an unholy amount of hours in the game and consumed pretty much all the content the game has to offer. Can't believe Capcom slipped in such a sneaky trap into the game, but I'll admit that it was a very complicated and clever trap.
Don’t let peppo get ahold of this
I wanna know whats the best sword and shield atm
without any specific build
Long Swords could benefit from this-
Probably will skip the armor skills because it just doesn’t seem to jive with my type of gameplay.
As a GL and CB main… this skill doesn’t help a shit ton. BUT CPP BUFF TO BE ON PAR WITH GUARD COUNTER BUFF?!? I wonder if the reposition skill does the same too… hmm.
