The most relaxing sound is, no sound! Look into yourself and hear your breath! The next step you must feel chi and the next step your spirit becomes a unite with nature! At this moment your breath becomes quite and slow and you have a sensation as you can fly! This is happen to me and is really a sensation, that allows you to forget everything from the past and the futur! You live now! Sorry for my bad english but nobody is perfect!
I think it's funny how today we need relaxing music or sounds from the internet, to calm us down. I mean, 500 years ago, when the internet wasn't around we as humans used to go out into the forest and listen in the grass, to the wonderful sounds mother-nature has to offer. Today; what's stopping us? Is it now illegal to walk to the nearest forest, or plains, mountains, anywhere, to listen to the wonderful sounds. And I can understand if you do not live near a place where you cannot find sounds like this. But, if you knew that you like these sounds or you have a certain love for the nature around you, I believe that it is know your fault for once again, "breaking the rules of being human" and choosing the wrong climate to live in.
But, I guess I cannot argue too much. I agree with most, this video is truly great.
I agree, but it's also amazing that we have these beautiful, relaxing sounds of nature so conveniently available when we want them. Plus, we have them when it's too cold, too hot, or too wet to be outside. I love 'em!

you're right. I wish I could go somewhere and listen. But near to me is a huge street, and there's no forest, To the nearest forest I have to ride by car about 1,5 hour. It's so so so bad. Nowadays the world changed so much, tht nature is far away from us. Trees? animals? no no no there's only plastic!!!
Relaxing doesn't mean only resting. I use it to minimize the ambient sounds in my work place (using earphones), so my mind can focus easier on my work.

this one has a glitch - if you have a good hearing you will notice it. it keeps glitching out in a subtle but distinct way, so not for those with sensitive perception. it will not allow you to relax because the sound is not natural - or rather it has impurity of technical glitch of recording. what a shame - would have been a nice relaxing background otherwise
I'm not sure if it is a glitch. It sounds to me like the person recording the sounds had the recorder to close to their face or head and gave a quick "Sniff" from a cold or something. I'm sure they only recorded a minute or so and looped it several different ways to last as long as it is, so the sniff keeps coming up right before and during a specific bird chirping sound.

It's great to hear nature for once. When i try to sleep, do only thing i hear are tye sound of cars and the voices of late night people. I don't know how i got through it but, i'm glad i stumbled upon this video. It really helps when i can't seem to fall asleep.
some people do live in the middle of huge cities with nothing close to this anywhere near, and dont have the time to take public transport for 1-2 hours if not more, to go listen to this :P That's the only reason I use these videos haha

Not all of us. I always seek to preserve nature and if people throw garbage or something I will usually tell them or pick it up myself. Some seek to destroy it for worthless things like paper that apparently can be used to get food from.. But that's weird to me, since I get the food from nature and paper is made from the nature I get food from. This world makes no sense. But let's all rejoice in nature and be the example that helps save Mother Earth. Blessings!

Yes and no. While I'm trapped here in my house or office and longing to be out in nature, I can listen to wonderful places in nature that are not even accessible to me if I went outside, so I'm very grateful for that.
I've found recordings of birds that are not native to my area, so it's like a mini-escape/vacation for me.

All dripping water sound like pee and all pee sound like dripping water. It is nature! I'm trying to relax and draw a forest for my project and all I'm thinkin about now is peeing cuz I see the same joke in about 6 videos already. Not at all. I'm at home, studying for my exams. Bad crappy weather outside so I can't take my books to the park and study there. Now I'm sitting behind my desk enjoying those sounds, whether the weather outside is good or not. So no, not ironic. It's a solution :)

This sound reminds me of fishing, just you, mother nature and maybe someone else. You have your camping gear, a fishing rod and some beer Just head north and stop whenever you see a nice stream. This is exactly what it sounds like!

This was relaxing until at about 33 minutes two people start doing the nasty. She's concerned a couple minutes later that 'they will hear' , he responds, 'They won't'. Thus goes on until minute 38 and then they finish... How am I suppose to relax?

Close your eyes and visualize your own garden... do that once or twice a day for half an hour and you'll no longer need a garden, because you allready have one for yourself. It helps me very well...
