75 minutes of thunder and rain - relaxing noise for your ears

This is 75 minutes (actually a little bit more!) of audio-only thunder and rain. It starts off slow, and it ends slow. Listen to this while trying to fall asleep, or if you're taking a nap. Almost guaranteed a more relaxed sleep! You can also use it if you need to really concentrate for studying/doing homework/anything else needing concentration.

This was made based on several audio clips from RHumpries, sampled by M. Lightning, of a short thunder and rain storm. The audio in this video is licensed under a Creative Commons Sampling Plus 1.0 License.

This is the best rain and thunder I've heard here. Most tend to be always the same 10-20 seconds looping, or sound fake.
I go thru so many videos on UA-cam every day, but the only one that I always come back to every night is this one. I can't sleep without you. I need you forever!

first time with this one usually the rain by itself puts me to sleep. I can imagine myself watching the lightening across the desert sky as the rain falls and I feel peaceful

For the past 3 nights or so I have used your video to go to sleep. Each time I sleep like a narcoleptic rock!!!this is ridiculous and I love it. Its sad that I get up in the morning and drag myself to school and think about getting back to bed to listen to this again. This is some of the best sleep I've ever had

This takes me back home to my rocking chair every night, sitting out on my back porch with a jellybean jar of Beam's bonded bourbon in hand while watching the storm roll in from the Southwest across my land. Usually it was mid-to-late July in Western, Iowa as the mid afternoon humidity would boil up a storm. Watching the dark emerald tassled corn waving in the breeze against an an electrified gunmetal and navy blue sky was always relaxing to me.

Very nice. I can close my eyes and imagine sitting alone in the desert, miles from anywhere, watching the storm over the mountains in the far distance, the occasional flicker of lightning, all the while listening to the gentle rain, bringing the desert back to life. Thank you!

I was using this to desensitize my rescue dog to thunder but I guess she found it relaxing too because she's gone to sleep next to the computer.

I imagine myself in a chrysalis, hanging from a tree in a deep jungle. The rain patters my cocoon and the wind gently sways me. I am relaxed, calm. Changing and growing more accustomed to the world inside. It is safe here despite the storm. The trees feel some anxiety but I can tell they accept the storm by the gentle sways they make in its wind. Here I grow, warm and soft. Waiting... Waiting for my time to fly. The storm is calming and coming closer but I am not ready yet to meet it. Soon, soon I will be awake and soon I will fly up to meet it. But for now I relax... For now I sleep.

One of my favorite things to do is smoke a bowl then fall lay down and listen to any kind of ambience. I get so relaxed that I end up falling asleep. Which is what I'm about to do.

What keeps bringing me back to this one is: it is an actually storm, with the rain rising, the immense lightning in the middle. it feels real, and it progresses beautifully instead of the white noise storms you have 90% of the time here

I have been listening to different thunder and rain videos for about a month now. I use them to go to sleep. I really like this one. I deeply long for the rain season here in my state. I wish we had thunder storms more often.
