Selfish superstars, burger flippers for D men, complete sieves for goaltending, and absolutely no heart. You play in the softest division in pro hockey, and it makes you think you are special.
Still top heavy, but I hope this improves their 5 on 5 play, Skinner is ok but I think his numbers were inflated by playing behind a solid defence, still think that position should be upgraded, defence we still need help, another 2 RD would be nice, Nurse is overpaid and tries to overachieve which ruins his game. But I know it is impossible to move that contract so all I can hope for is that he plays the best game of his career next year. Just need him to be solid defensively.
Edmonton needs a break out of their end , first pass defenceman. None of Edmonton's D are great first pass players . They need a D who can pass it up , not give it up. Florida is defensive , they won , so let's go all offensive , sounds like a playoff losing plan.

Florida won because of defense? Oilers got 32 shots in game 1 and 35 in game 3. So Panthers defense was not so special. Panthers won first 3 games because of their goalie.
@@Peter-sx6we Oh for sure undeniably Bob saved the 1st 3 games. But when the Oilers started shooting higher up on blocker-side; Bob broke and they figured out how to rack up the goals for a game 7 final. Oilers taking bad penalties the entire 7 games didn't help either!!
IF KANER can get back to year 1 form, then we have potential 30-40 goal scorers in KANE, SKINNER, ARVIDSSON, MCD + potential 50+ goal scorers in HYMAN & DRAI! Holy smokes, this is like going back to the 80's boys !!! 😂
@@fthockey I would prefer him to stay over all the other names that have been thrown around for a trade. When he's healthy, he adds a level of grit that we always seem to be missing. It also seems like he thrives here in Edmonton

yes, Kane is a rare breed, Oilers need his grit for sure, can't just give up on him coz he was wreaked with injuries last season
