we were definitely not getting Debrusk for the cost we got Arvidsson. Arvidsson is a similar skill level to Debrusk arguably a better player then Debrusk. he is injury prone witch is what scares me about him tho. I was sad to see Desharnais and Foegele go, but it was smart to not resign them as they were asking too much money. Desharnais to the Canucks is salt on the wound for the Oilers.
Edit: This just happened, the Edmonton Oilers have signed jeff skinner to a 1 year 3 mil contract. This is another moved when i first heard rumors i was hoping for it to happen.
Edit 2: Resigning stetcher, janmark, and henrique is amazing. I really couldn't be too much happier with how today went.

If the Oilers hire Stan Bowman the ownership needs their head examined. He was given a new, shiny, Red and Black Lamborghini as the Hawks G.M. He scratched the heck out of it with bad trades, dented the body with bad contracts, and ruined the engine with horrible drafting and prospect development. Plus Stan got the Hawks GM job just because of his dad. Stan had zero experience in hockey before that he was working as an accountant. He is a smooth talker. If Edomomton hires him, one thing I know is every other GM in the NHL will be jumping with joy because they know they will be able to fleace him on trades, and at the draft, any player he drafts will be a reach. Kane and his family JUST built a new home in Edmonton. He has a full NMC so I can't see him going anywhere. His wife's from here and his youngest was born here if memory serves. Hate the Perry deal for the bonus's etc. He should have gotten LESS than Brown if they signed him at all. Still hoping they could sign Rico and Janmark but we'll see. Broberg has stepped up and put himself in the starting lineup next season. Josh Brown is a 7th Dand , and Vinny price himself out to be a 7th D.
Bowman did something terrible and cannot forgive, but he might be the best GM to bring the cup home. I think the leadership group will have a said in who will be their next GM is.

As much as I'm liking the signings of Connor Brown, Janmark, Skinner, and Arvidsson, they've really confused me. I can't figure out what the lineup could look like this fall for the life of me. They have to be about to trade a forward, but who? I don't think it's Kane, but I can't figure out who it might be instead.
