The dumbest thing that Stan Bowman could do is to make CAP SPACE for Broberg by trading : 1) Codi Ceci and the 2026 & 2027 1st round draft picks FOR 7th round draft pick 2) Brett Kulak and the 2028 & 2029 1st round draft picks FOR 7th round draft pick Both players would make excellent rentals come TRADE DEADLINE for another 1st round draft pick from a Stanley Cup Contender resulting in providing a rebuilding team like CHICAGO or MONTREAL : THREE FIRST ROUND PICKS for ONE SEVENTH ROUND PICK ! And on top of that, CECI and KULAK are very good defensemen for their CAP HIT and would provide excellent depth for any contender. MCLEOD SUCKS ASZZZZZZZZ what kind of hockey player is scared of human contact. Waste of speed, low hockey IQ, no grit and no consideration for teammates. He should've been benched a long time ago, he made many game tilting mistakes for no other reason than being a coward. He was definitely a liability for the Oilers and became worse under the playoff pressure, not better. The team gave him so many chances but each time was too scared (apparently?) to step up to the occasion, winning the cup demands sacrifices but at least don't drag your team down if you're too scared to play.
