- Swithching from OEM turn singnals to LED; kawasaki z750
Changing OEM turn signals to LED casues hyperflashing because the W usage of LED is too small for the OEM relay.
All you need is a new turn signal relay. I had to get a pair of adapters to fit the new turn signals to hold them in place and I also used a pair of extension cords to prevent soldering the cords so I could keep it as original as possible.

Got the flasher relay from a local motorcycle dealer for like 15€ which is rated at 1-100W so as you can see I still have the original turn signals in the front that work just fine which I'm going to change with the LED ones.I'll do a video about it later when I have the time to change them :)
Hello, i have 4 led waterflowing turn lights on my z750 (2012), going too fast as yours, what realay i should buy?
Hey, check your local supplier for a led compatible flasher relay. Or if ebay/amazon is an option just search for led relay for kawasaki z750. Or you can use a load resistor but I'd say switching the relay itself would be easier since it's just a plug and play operation and costs roughly 10$
Dude, I've changed the relay by a 2 pin 150w led relay. When the bike is idle it works okay, but when I rev it up, turn signals start to hyperflash again. Any idea about what is happening?
Hey,
Not an electrician really. Sounds weird. Check your battery voltages both idle and revving. Should go up to 14.5~ max. If it goes way above you have a problem with your regulator. If it stays under then it's either a grounding issue with the rear lights or you got a broken version of the flasher relay. Either replace the relay or try to look for the ground wire and see if it's grounded properly.
@@SeppoLonkila Thanks a lot, you gave me very good workarounds. I will check that issues you mentioned.
@@ivanbartolelli Hope you get it resolved!
