Im doing this Led swap for my 2014 Z800 aswell and im wondering did you use resistors on all indicators? And did the hazard lights still work as normal or what? 9:49 got me a bit confused..

I mentioned it in the video. I used 2 resistors. I used 4 resistors on my Yamaha Mt07 and the hazard lights did not work. When i removed two of them got the hazard lights work correctly

I bought some Oxford LED indicators, but I’m confused on how to hook up the resistors. Any chance you could help me out? I know you showed it in this video, but it flew right by! LOL! It didn’t look like you did what their single drawing in the instructions showed. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks man!

You need to have the resistors between the indicators and the cables that hoes to the bike. Slow down the video and watch. I cut and reused the cables from the original indicators. Use only resistors on 2 of 4 indicators.

@@arrek6773 Thanks for the reply! I should have stated that I'm a complete noob at this stuff! LOL! I've never done anything like this in my life. Also, I'm only doing this on the rear of the bike. I'm leaving the front indicators as they are for now. I guess my confusion is that there are 4 wires coming out of the resistors, 2 red and 2 black. The black appear to be banded together as their own pair. The Oxford diagram show that you need to splice the wires from indicator (both red and black) to the black wires from the resistor. Then splice those on to the indicator wiring to the motorcycle. That leaves the red wires on the resistors unused. Is that how it's done?? I assumed all of the wires would be connected to something. Thanks again for the help!

@@SuitcaseJohnny it was a long time ago I did this. One pair is in and the other pair is out. Black is minus and red is plus. Connect the indicator first. The heads only fit one way. The remaining wires from the resistors goes to the bike. You see in the video that i pressed cable shoes/heads on the wires. Its hard for me to explain cause my english is not the best.

@@arrek6773 What you are saying makes way more sense than the diagram in the instructions. By the way, their instructions are just that one confusing diagram, with that a note that says, If you don't understand this take your bike to a dealer to have it done. LOL! Thanks for the help. I'll see what I can figure out. I just don't want to damage my electrical system by hooking it up the wrong way. Is that possible, that I could damage it? Thanks again for the help, man!

@@SuitcaseJohnny you can't damage it. Worst case the fuse goes and you can replace it. Good luck. 👍

Where did you get the spacers for the indicator on the front? The r &g one I got are far too big for the space....

are there two indicators in one pack? and do you get the resistors in the package?

      NoRse_Simix
Yes, two indicators in one pack and resistors. I think there is a cheaper pack without resistors too.
