I spent 29 years as Disaster Volunteer and ON-X would be a lifesaver during Emergencies, like the Hurricanes, Tornadoes and Storms where many times street signs are missing or destroyed
Best video you’ve ever put on this channel. Cameraman needs props on this one. Much more cinematic than usual. Showcased everything from terrain and drama more effectively.
Yeah, coming from Matt's Off-Road Recovery video, the camera and general video quality were miles above what MORR usually has. It's definitely worth the investment in equipment.
@@BAoxymoron agreed. I don’t mean to diminish Matt’s team of course, I’m practically obsessed with their videos. This camera work was next level though.
As always another outstanding adventure. Funny thing.. in the 70's we ran tubes in everything. We didn't have beadlocks... at best some were the old split rim wheels... but tubes were a necessity for aired down tires... Can Am if you're watching. Robbie has trail proven the can am as an ambassador... if you have a HIGH lift long arm suspension kit... along with a taller tire setup... he could sure use it. That "level 5" trail is a proving grounds for anyone who is building a crawler !! It challenges every aspect of the build. Hats off to both crews. 👏 always enjoy watching you guys. Looking forward to seeing what's next. 😎 👍
I say this with each video I watch..."What a super bunch of folks!" No BS, no egos, just good folks having fun. Thanks for bringing us along. Kudos to your video team, they get better with each passing day!
It's nice to see that Matt got the headers wrapped on the heavy wrecker. (0:35) Hopefully that fixes the issues with the loss of air pressure from the lines coming out...
Matt said in his video that the DIY heat shield did the job, and the air lines didn't get hot. I believe they're planning on replacing it with some proper header wrap "Soon(tm)".
I saw the worried look on Matt's face when he came around that flat tire! Then I saw the big smile on his face when it was decided they were going to fix it on trail with minimum tools. Awesome video as usual, thanks for taking us along.
I thought I was seeing Lizzy on and off during the rescue. Right at the end they actually got her on camera. Robby you got the Best to perform the recovery and nothing else could have handled that trail. Now I have to go watch Matt's channel because his came in while I was watching this one. Robby your whole team were stars on this recovery as well. And well, The Boss was right there in the middle of everything recording and giving play by play. Great Job.
Robby I was an individual who coined your wife as the Boss every time I wrote because I don't know how to spell her name so I have called her the Boss.
Most wives and girlfriends are the over-worrying voice of reason that usually interrupt our shenanigans. Demri is the complete opposite of that since she's the one wanting to take the Laymo up that trail😂
Robby i really love the way you jump in and problem solve on the fly... you are the man Sir, sincerely... your on my team for sure!!!! Great video ya'll 🎉🎆 ☕🐢
Please don't take the Laymo there without rear steering! I don't think it could handle it even with rear steering! People love the Laymo. She's too beautiful to make her look like she's been in a Demolition Derby! Let us admire the Laymo just the way it is. Matt, that was the most exciting recovery to date! Great job! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next...
I would say that the 5 rating means that you can complete this trail if you bring 5 normal vehicles, because 4 out of those 5 will be broken before finishing it. 😂
First time I have seen Matt upset 🙂 but by the end he is in his glory and basking in success...🥰 WOW... great trail repair adaptation by MORR ... So Robbie is your RS Side by Side now for sale 😂🤣😂 so Wrecker Games II on Hanging Tree 😂 Blister... still chuckling 😂🤣😂 The best one Robbie and MORR Crew....
Great great job Matt. It's so cool to see how yall work together to better each other's channels. And a truly impressive recovery. Always entertaining. Thanks guys.
All that innovation in building the heavy wrecker paid off in spades! That was an amazing recovery. Had to be a blast in person. You could feel all the excitement. Well done team.
That was a great video! Had a blast watching it. With all the damage to the Can-am, it's time to get it on the rack, straighten and strengthen it. Then give it to a fan!
that was a great job for Matt's off road wrecker 👏 👌 I'm really glad friends come together and not only for a rescue's but even all the fun and all the smiles 😊 😀 on your faces as you over came difficulties and the enjoyment of see you guys working together this was a great video 📹 ❤️ keep making great videos 📹 both teams 😀 and bring us the viewers along for the adventures...you all are building a great bond of brotherhood...
Matt, Tom, Lizzy and the rest of the MORR crew...you designed, built and drive the most EPIC Heavy Offroad Wrecker recovery vehicle on UA-cam and you all ROCK! (Matt hasn't grinned that much doing a recovery on an extremely challenging since...EVER. He looked like he was having a LOT of fun, Tom likewise.)
That was an awesome detailed video of the recovery! Enjoyed every bit of it. Fantastic test of Matt's Heavy Wrecker. I am sure it performed above and beyond expectations.
What an adventure ! New ground for the heavy wrecker and it made it. Stick to your guns Hillbilly, NO LS ! BBF can do it. Thanks to everyone on this one. Work Safe, Be well Enjoy Life
That was impressive. KUDOS to both teams and everyone involved. The collaboration of, Robby Layton Nation, Matt's Off Road Recovery and that so-called level 5 trail, WOW. This is why we all like, subscribe and share.
This was an awesome video!! That heavy wrecker is amazing!! As much of a Ford guy Hillbilly is you gotta put a coyote in it. Thanks for a great start for the day!!
Hi Demri, Helen here I love how you’ve got more confident in front of the camera I particularly love you talking and telling us your thoughts and yes I’d love to see the laymo do this trail when the broncstar is fixed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ love all you guys
An engineer, is not only those who have a piece of paper that titles as engineers. An engineer are those who engineer their way to make what they have in their head WORK. This is a great example. You guys engineered your way through some very gnarly terrain even for the wrecker which by the way is an awesome Beast. Great gob it’s always nice to have friends with the knowledge and desires to help out.
Fantastic episode! The only way it would have been better is if I had been there to experience it live and in person. But on second thought, I’m old and couldn’t have walked the course.
I flipped my Can-Am over a waterfall similar to that crossing. Thank gosh, I only lost my sunglasses, buddies saved me. freaked me out watching that crossing, so many fun memories. Travel Safe All. bring recovery ropes...
Shows up like a Blister! 😂😂 Never heard that before LOL Matt is all nice and easy over everything and then Robby comes and all reckless LOL that was not nice and easy Robby 😀 Demri is such a cutie! Thanks all for the fun and laughs! Take care!
Okay, long time (and happy) viewer of MR but first time commenter. Comments are purely out of love for the show and it’s cast. Me, I’m a near 80 yo (26) year Ford tech who has enjoyed off-road activities for most of my adult life - which started around my 16th year. I watch with awe every turn, twist, every rut, every rock (or boulder), and all the busted parts that are part of the show - yet there are some issues that simply befuddle me. Along with my years working in automotive maintenance, I also put in 20 years in naval aviation maintenance and still managed to get in a fair amount of dirt biking in the bombing range outside of El Centro and of course, Glamis - them were the “good ole days”. So when I watch your wonderful show my brain not only follows the action on the trail but also visualizes the strain on all them moving parts, knowing the weaknesses of some products and the strengths of others. What “befuddles me” is your own admission of sometimes not being as prepared as you should be - like running out of fuel, leaving the keys behind, or “we shoulda fixed that!”. What you need is an old guy that ain’t much good for anything other than spotting issues that could be problematic BEFORE they become problematic. You need a PMI guy (Pre-Mission Inspector) whose sole responsibility is to ensure every piece of recovery equipment is good to go and if it ain’t what does it need to make it so? Note I said recovery equipment - not just vehicles but anything that the ship needs to stay operational. Ok, old guy will stop rambling now - love your show. Mike (sometimes known as “Dirt”)
That was an amazing, fun recovery with an equally awesome trail pr-start repair. It looked like you were all having fun. That Cam-Am is amazing also Robby, I’ve seen so many of them busted up yet yours just kept on going and was kinda knocked about all over the place. I think she will need a good looking at and some TLC before taking here anywhere challenging again. Kudos to you all for a fantastic and fun recovery.
Guess Matt could always donate the tire and make some lucky child one heck of a tire swing! I would've been so jealous I remember in the 80s I had a 35 inch tire swing and thought I was king 💩 🤣
This is the only problem with tyres so big you can't carry a spare. Someone needs to turn that 5 into an 8 before someone gets hurt on that trail. Demri, Robby channels Whistln' Diesel often enough without you encouraging him. he's already done 10 to 15 grand damage to the CanAm on this trail, that a lota views and merch. That was a great episode and that wrecker just has to be the ultimate off-road vehicle for anywhere it will fit between the obstacles.
Robby, Merlin is the guy that knows his stuff both about old skool wrecker you got sitting at Rorys. And does great work. Rory seems busy. Have you talked to Merlin? Just sayin it would be cool to see what Merlin could do on your Old Skool wrecker project
A master stroke having Demri doing the commentary, such a relief seeing her lovely face instead of peering at all the other gnarly ones! Sorry fellas, but also a breath of fresh air seeing the very lovely Lizzy there too. The wrecker did a great job in spite of the tyre failure, beats me this is not more prevalent in the terrain you cover! Great vid fellas, looking forward to you all doing it again on a pleasure trip.
Watching this one felt like an old National Geographic nature documentary. Watch a wild heavy wrecker hook it's prey and dominate in it's natural habitat.
Watched both your and Matt’s version of the recovery and they complemented each other magnificently. Matt’s version made the trail look way easier than it is and Demri captured the reality of the rescue!! Looking forward to see you all work together again!!
I watched the other video last night and was searching for this video on everyone's channels (Matt's, Roy's, Paul's & Your's). I was stoked when this popped up in my feed!
MATT, I have a fix for your trailer/winch/battery problem! I put an electric winch on my boat trailer but didn’t want a battery on my boat trailer so I installed a 100 amp.male/female plug designed for a trolling motor. The female side of the plug I installed in the side wall of my pickup trucks bed & wired it down along the frame to my trucks battery. This plug will handle 100 amps. so I installed an in line resettable breaker at my trucks battery & wire sized to handle the current draw of my winch. The male side of this plug I wired to the winch with enough wire to reach from the winch on the trailer to my trucks female plug! You can wire in & install one female side of the plug into every tow vehicle you have & eliminate the need for trailer batteries completely because you get the power for the trailers winch from your vehicles battery just like a fixed mounted winch on that vehicle! NO MORE CHARGING trailer batteries or carrying a jump pack for power! I’ve used this setup on two of my trucks over 8 yrs. without a single problem! You simply hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle, when the winch is needed plug in the male pigtail from your winch to the female plug installed in your tow vehicle, that’s it your winch is ready to use. Amazon has the trolling motor 100 amp.male/female plugs & resettable breakers I used for my setup & they have worked great! Love your video’s!
The difference between the heavy wrecker and Trail Mator is that Matt climbs obstacles with the jeep still hanging, where Trailmator sets the jeep down, climbs the obstacle, then pulls the jeep up. That’s what you get with a rig twice the size.
I know everyone tries to tell you how to do your job. But from the outside looking in if you would run lift cables under axle to frame the axle wouldn't extend and wheels would be higher wouldn't have to lift vehicles as high.
Not a terrible idea, but the suspension would bounce and rub the winch lines on the front of the truck. Bad for paint and plastic on most trucks and hard on winch lines.
It krazy, You built the bronc star have Mattman save it, I'm sure it won't be the last. 😊 Exhaust leak on heavy wrecker is irritatingly lovely to hear now, It's like a norm to have something not run top notch.
Matt, I've done A LOT of car+truck tires BY hand!!! A few tubeless tire patches are about 4" square and might get you by! ,2 ply also. I used 2 chunks of channel iron with flat straps to connect them. Piece of angle to hook on rim on bottom to catch rim. Short car jack to pressure the bead. All that after handle went away on tire hammer. A land hook is good also, 4-5 foot of channel pounded into ground. Hopefully something here will help!🤔

Matt might not be an engineer, but that heavy wrecker is a BEAST! 😁
(Edit: It kills me that Hillbilly got a t-shirt, lol...)
Tom has Masters in Nuclear engineering.
This should win Matt a few extra points when the next wrecker games come up aye Robbie
We all know now why Matt built this wrecker - what a recovery & this beast can rock climb. Good call Robby.

If you see one for sale assume it has been through the worst w
Condition. 😂
Robby" don't lo ball me I know what I got"
If anyone of them have one for sale run
Nicely done gentlemen. That was awesome to see the heavy wrecker do that.
very nice Show , enjoy you guys a bunch, but does Tom have’s to talk so much 😮
@@terryfenner4284, yeah, geez, did Tom HAVE TO talk the entire time, keep interrupting everyone and commenting on EVERYTHING?! 🤣😂😆😀

Awesome vid as always.
You have to include Mike with the death star and Shawn with his rig.
That would be an amazing series of videos to see
Rudy and the Rudicon.

Don't forget the Wrecker Games winner, Merlin. I doubt there have been many diesel rigs up that trail.
How about Merlin too?
The heavy wrecker is amazing, absolute beauty matt you sir are a legend

Fantastic recovery video. The laughter and humor displayed by everyone made the recovery fun to watch.
Great great job Matt. It's so cool to see how yall work together to better each other's channels. And a truly impressive recovery. Always entertaining. Thanks guys.
This is the best recovery that I've seen Matt take the wrecker on. Now you need to prep the Laymo and take it through there for Demri.
It’s a two part plan, how do you recover the Laymo if it doesn’t make it?
I agree but let Demri drive the trail in the Laymo
Riiiiiight, maybe if you articulate it in the middle. 🙄🙃😔
Definitely want to see the Laymo on this trail! But I want to see it with some rear stear!
I think the Laymo is way too long.
Well Matt, that's one way to learn the limits of the heavy wrecker. It's cool to see two UA-cam celebs help each other out. Awesome video!!

What an incredible piece of recovery equipment that your team built. This recovery was the best one yet
I knew the wrecker was capable but this was on a whole different level. Very impressive!!! Truly amazing build Matt and team!!!
This recovery was absolutely amazing! Between the scenery and the the rigs makes for an amazing adventure

This was just another day at the office for Robby, Matt and their crews.
I love my LS Engine! 2000 Chevy Silverado 5.3! has over 750,000 miles and still going to this day.

Awesome video so sad that the Big Wrecker had a flat, but that's OK. It got fixed, and it got the Bronco Star out!!🎉🎉🎉❤
Demri made this an awesome video, she is so cool and cute. Matt has built a Monster with that heavy wrecker. I hope Hillbilly loves his new LS motor!!
You guys are great! Y'all make me proud to be from Utah. Beautiful state and wonderful people.💪🤠👍
Guess Matt could always donate the tire and make some lucky child one heck of a tire swing!
I would've been so jealous I remember in the 80s I had a 35 inch tire swing and thought I was king 💩 🤣
Was fun to watch. Insane trail. Maybe a little narly! Nice recovery.
Demri, gorgeous as always, hiking her butt off for good shots, really surprised Robby hasn't broke that can am,hammering it, excellent recovery
Great video and great job with the recovering and a 460 big block for the bronco and stay safe and God bless from GA
Matt did an absolutely awesome job designing and building the wrecker. Enjoy watching the two of you together.
Wow that was awesome! Great collaboration between 2 of my favs! I could watch these video's all day!
Now that’s a off road recovery if I’ve ever seen one, nice team effort. Also learned a lot with the heavy wrecker.
Great job

I watched the other video last night and was searching for this video on everyone's channels (Matt's, Roy's, Paul's & Your's). I was stoked when this popped up in my feed!
That was a great video the heavy wrecker was put to the test and did great can't wait to see more videos of it
MATT, I have a fix for your trailer/winch/battery problem!
The Bronc⭐️ needs a Godzilla!!! 🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
that was amazing, heavy wrecker to the rescue!! ROBBY really wants to break his can am.!!!!
Nice to see Matt channeling Rory😂 really really good episode.
Trail Mater might be able to go up those obstacles forward or backwards.
Never bet against Trailmater
It krazy,
You built the bronc star have Mattman save it,
I'm sure it won't be the last. 😊
Exhaust leak on heavy wrecker is irritatingly lovely to hear now,
It's like a norm to have something not run top notch.
Great to see the cross channel team work. Looking forward to the Broncstar upgrades 😊
I like Demri's positive "we can do this" attitude.
