P.S. I would disagree that Kant was an anti-rationalist. The Critique of Pure Reason just sets the limit of rational knowledge. While all of the rest of his works deals with knowledge through reason and rationality. In a way, you could say the same thing that you said: Faith and Science should be separated from each other. Kant would say that some metaphysical question are not the domain of rationality but of theology.

This is the first time I have seen someone debating Sufiism with logic. Good approach. However, the fall of the Muslim empire was not Ghazali or his sufi philosophy. It was being away from research by common intellectuals. Sufiism is a truth. Yes, logic can not explain it. Hazrat Data sahib, Sachal Sarmast, Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, Nizam ud Din Auliya, Rumi (RA), and many more are not stories. Brain and logic have a limit. Once our brain accepts a reality through laws of nature and starts feeling the divine forces and accepts them through love, the universal truth changes. This world is a curtain to another. These curtains can be unfolded either by science or true spirituality. Sufi can not be made, or Sufiism can not be learned or transferred. It is a gift of God to His selected ones indiscrimately with race, color, or gender. Those who claim it are false. It is a burden to carry, not a shiny armor to show off. Only His love makes it easy to bear. All the knowledge belongs to Him and He is the knowledge Himself 🙏🏻

I personally revere Sufis and their services which they rendered for spreading Islam and Love in subcontinent. As far as serving people is concerned, Sufis have done great job, but when it comes to explaining miracles and other supernatural phenomenas, as per Uzma Rumi, Sufis have given unscientific explanations of those supernatural phenomenas. As far as refuting a theory is concerned, this is still fine, but imposing an idea with force along declaring someone as non-believer was completely unjustified. She is criticising Al-Ghazali for coercively enforcing his ideas which led Muslims towards downfall. You can listen her argument in the video below 👇 in first comment. I personally think that why was/is it necessary to merge two things, the science and supernatural phenomenas and why was it necessary to find explanations of supernatural phenomenas from scientific experiments/observations? They both could have gone parallel, supporting each other, finding explanations by depending on each other. I personally think that supernatural things exist, but is it necessary to find answers from science? I mean science is equally important. At the moment Muslims are facing problems in the field of science and technology. Jews have taken up both Scinece and Religion parallel and there is no problem there. So I agree with Uzma Rumi to the extent that Muslims are facing downfall because of the absence of science and technology and this downfall started in the era of Al-Ghazali or by Ghazali, but I do not agree with her argument to find scientific explanations or evidence la from the supernatural phenomenas and it was fair to observe the both from same lens. I think they both could have parallel to each other explaining/supporting each other over the course of time with new inventions. Scientific Knowledge or Philosophy shouldn’t have been discouraged or declared as disbelievers’ knowledge.

I think the lady is working on mission of atheism or promoting something which could be beneficial for changing the thinking of Pakistani people. She has distorted some facts of history and madly presented against Islam. In my observation she is an Ex- Muslim. I live in Western World and I have seen the western propaganda against Islam with a very deep understanding. All the enemies of Islam seem to be very logical from thousand of histotical facts. P.S. I would disagree that Kant was an anti-rationalist. The Critique of Pure Reason just sets the limit of rational knowledge. While all of the rest of his works deals with knowledge through reason and rationality. In a way, you could say the same thing that you said: Faith and Science should be separated from each other. Kant would say that some metaphysical question are not the domain of rationality but of theology.

However, the fall of the Muslim empire was not Ghazali or his sufi philosophy. It was being away from research by common intellectuals.
Sufiism is a truth. Yes, logic can not explain it. Hazrat Data sahib, Sachal Sarmast, Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, Nizam ud Din Auliya, Rumi (RA), and many more are not stories.
Brain and logic have a limit. Once our brain accepts a reality through laws of nature and starts feeling the divine forces and accepts them through love, the universal truth changes. This world is a curtain to another. These curtains can be unfolded either by science or true spirituality.
Sufi can not be made, or Sufiism can not be learned or transferred. It is a gift of God to His selected ones indiscrimately with race, color, or gender. Those who claim it are false. It is a burden to carry, not a shiny armor to show off. Only His love makes it easy to bear.
All the knowledge belongs to Him and He is the knowledge Himself 🙏🏻

I personally revere Sufis and their services which they rendered for spreading Islam and Love in subcontinent. As far as serving people is concerned, Sufis have done great job, but when it comes to explaining miracles and other supernatural phenomenas, as per Uzma Rumi, Sufis have given unscientific explanations of those supernatural phenomenas. As far as refuting a theory is concerned, this is still fine, but imposing an idea with force along declaring someone as non-believer was completely unjustified. She is criticising Al-Ghazali for coercively enforcing his ideas which led Muslims towards downfall. You can listen her argument in the video below 👇 in first comment.
I personally think that why was/is it necessary to merge two things, the science and supernatural phenomenas and why was it necessary to find explanations of supernatural phenomenas from scientific experiments/observations? They both could have gone parallel, supporting each other, finding explanations by depending on each other. I personally think that supernatural things exist, but is it necessary to find answers from science? I mean science is equally important. At the moment Muslims are facing problems in the field of science and technology. Jews have taken up both Scinece and Religion parallel and there is no problem there. So I agree with Uzma Rumi to the extent that Muslims are facing downfall because of the absence of science and technology and this downfall started in the era of Al-Ghazali or by Ghazali, but I do not agree with her argument to find scientific explanations or evidence la from the supernatural phenomenas and it was fair to observe the both from same lens. I think they both could have parallel to each other explaining/supporting each other over the course of time with new inventions. Scientific Knowledge or Philosophy shouldn’t have been discouraged or declared as disbelievers’ knowledge.
