Thought we were going to have a nice 3-way battle for the lead but I guess not hah! This game's a little less subtle with their random computer car crashing!
I like FoV in this game. Better than in GT5/6 :) But its a pity they did not leave the physics from the predecessor. Also graphics is not as sharp (looks like lower resolution was used)
Yeh this is one of the only PS1games I find the cockpit view actually somewhat playable :) The viewpoint is quite far back in the car. TOCA 2 has some of my favourite physics (racing games obviously :p) on the PS1 so yes, is a shame to see them changed, though this game still plays really well. I guess maybe the graphics took a hit to make space for the huge selection of cars and tracks they crammed into this game :)
in epsxe use texture filterin for delete the ridiculous pixels and sawtooth or... hahahah update your psx graphics in this sample icludes texture filtering for delete the pixels , and xbrz, for upscale 2d sprites and pgxp perspective correction, for not tremble textures ua-cam.com/video/5wRjykw6d44/v-deo.html
Hah, better late than never! The channel stopped for a few years. I've just released a new video for this game so have just checked my old videos and seen I hadn't replied to everyone. To actually answer your question, I have no idea! Think the FOV is preset on the PS1 (would need to check the options), never tried ePSXe. Andriodepcsoluziones165 gave some info, hope that helped.
pilota muito, nesse circuito eu sou um desastre no level hard' no máximo que eu posso alcançar é o 3° lugar!
Continue praticando! O pódio é bom :)
@@racinggamechallenge né!

How is the fov so far? Does it have to do with the resolution? Because im playing it on ePSXe and it is more close..

@@racinggamechallenge Yeah you right mate.
I think in some cars the seats are different so the FOV too depending the elevation of the track.
