Fr, he gets some hate for it but I love his honesty. He’ll back his opinion 100% and if he ends up being wrong, he’ll accept that which I respect a lot.

I’d take retals speaking his mind over any of the other three, even when I don’t agree. And I enjoy all four of them, I just wish Retals participated in more conversational content in general. Even when he’s just talking to the camera in his own videos. Some players I watch for gameplay, some for varied content, and some for just being themselves. Retals is def the most interesting to me in the last category
Archie himself said that Retals was one of the few non-NPCs from NA. Non-BM from Archie? Must be good.
I'll never let go off my hate, retals came in hot as a demo merchant against my favorites. Removing them from the game and winning things that confused me at the time. I hate him forever. I respect him and I wouldn't boycott him from anything, but he was always the villain upsetting my goat picks and I can't let go of all the times I watched my teams and had my heart broken watching retals on the W screen. Lol

V1 also has coach fireburner who is gonna be able to bring out the best of them as a team and im so excited to see them play in spring
love these chalked casts. you might not speak all that much since you're surrounded by big personalities, but you're sure good at bringing them together and you do great at mediating all their shenanigans
also i don't know johnny and cjcj's role in this since they're also hosts, but you definitely play the referee and they play the egos lmao

I fully agree with everything that Retals said about Chrome. I was very surprised when I saw that he got kicked but I can’t say that I’m completely surprised to learn about him clashing with Arsenal. Arsenal is an incredibly talented player and a very funny guy but his mental lets him down constantly in so many different ways. Obviously idk everything that Chrome does behind the scenes but it’s just so clear to see, even from coms videos that he’s an incredibly knowledgable and supportive coach. There’s not too much room for him at a top NA team rn but I’m sure something will open up somewhere. Honestly, he could even go to Optic or NRG. I don’t really rate either of their coaches rn but maybe that’s just me. M80 could be interesting too, they came in and looked insane but haven’t been quite so great recently. It’d be a risk but it could be cool to see. He could even coach an EU team tbh but wherever he goes, I’m sure he’ll find a great team, he deserves it fr.

Johny sometimes just be talking, he never actually replied to retals' argument. 😂 even after retals telling him his argument isn't in NA. But that furia is no doubt a top 2 team at home compared to in NA.
There is no way johny thinks furia is top 2 NA top 6 at best. They might peak 1 tournament, but I highly doubt they win any tournament in NA. Maybe a top 2 finish here and there but not consistently like genG or Faze.
To be fair I think there was a difference in expectation, Geng came over losers App Jack on dig was terrible and noly was good but got kicked from guild and chronic wasn't really top talent in the scene with Daniel taking most spot lights so they went in thinking they'd do the best they can. Furia came in after such amazing performances and it's hard to live up to those expectations so they fell flat then immediately switched someone out becuase of it rather than a complexity type style of grinding it out and making a switch down the line. That switch grew more expectations which they couldn't fulfill.
We thought the same about complexity, you know? They are kinda in that conversation with Faze and GenG right now.
I'm telling you these Southamericans are different.
They have the individual talent, hard to argue they don't with Yan and Lostt, also hard to say they'd still be undisputed top of SAM with the strides they've made this year anyways

I did a couple tournaments with daniel before he went pro (about 6 months, maybe less) and he was Champ 2 and horrendous. Ngl, I was rude to him - gave him a lot of really aggressive 'tips'. Ate my words, he hit Rank X then S months later and then SSG had a lock on him for when he turned 15. Wild to see where he is now. Come a long way character wise and skill wise. Wild.

They wanted Rise for Comm because they get that mechanical disruptor… better version of Comm. Then still planned on bringing the DanMode duo together by replacing Torment. Rise, Daniel, and BMode would’ve been instant top 4 in the world. Faze, KC, and GENG are the only ones who could’ve done something against that team.
So V1 could actually get more for torment then Comm as a world champion dedicated player, but honestly I thought playstyle matchups would make sense in either the rise or daniel scenario

Pretty sure Johnny is physically incapable of admitting he is wrong about anything or conceding a point to anyone he is talking to. Him playing devils advocate and “um actually” all the time is EXHAUSTING

Maybe I missed when he did that this episode, but on his top 25 players going into the major he was giving bates a lotta shit (granted some of bates takes were outta pocket, but he was consistent with it) but it sounded like he wasn't wanting to agree with any of bates topics no matter what
