People, RLCS: Oh man Vitality are so smart planning a 4 man roster! People, GWB: Hey! 4 man rosters are cheating when my favourite team gets smacked! GWB/G8 gives 4 man rosters viability and it's the perfect format for it. Who gives af if one player is only there for ones, it's smart, not cheating/unfair.
The Vitality 4 man roster was never really a thing, just something that was banded about until they decided who was getting kicked. Which is a much better way to handle it then telling one of the players they're going once Zen is eligible to play. Anyway, I don't think people have a problem with 4 man rosters, the complaint is that teams are just grabbing the best 1s players solely for this event. It's not cheating, no rules are being broken, but it would be better if rosters that entered into these competitions were forced to use their actual roster rather than relying on a 1s main who before and after this one event have no affiliation with that team/org.
You missed the whole point, the 4 man roster in gwb is not the same as the one in rlcs, in gwb the 4rth player would only play one mode when the other three didn't want to play, on top of that some teams were able to get a 4rth for the 1v1 and the invited teams were not able to have 4 players which is not fair.
@@Shape1999 it's perfectly fair. Every team has the same opportunities. It'd be unfair if it was something only available to a handful of teams, like having someone who's a 1s main by default.
