Are you serious?! Tons of talented stars have tattoos; Laura Benanti, Alice Ripley, Susan Sarandon, etc. Are you telling me that your opinion of their Tony/Oscar winning performances are suddenly diminished because one of them made a personal choice that's none of your businesses? That's repulsive. She's sweaty because she's nervous, and her tattoo isn't covered up because, surprise, it's her body, and she didn't have to. All four actors onstage gave great performances, and that's the truth.
I am so in love with this song right now. To see some of my favorite performers tackle it (especially Steggert, who was robbed of a Tony for Ragtime) just makes me giddy.
Just went through all the comments and most of them make me quite sad...Why do so many people judge others by small things like a tattoo? If you would know Jenn Colella just a little bit you would know that she is a sweet and kind person and I really hope she won´t read hateful stuff like the comments below.
Laura Osnes, with the good taste not to display a visible tattoo will become a Broadway star, the other girl, with a star tattooed on her upper arm would better turn to rock music where trashiness is seen by some audience members as a virtue. I was in the audience for the above performance and many people commented on the not so tiny disfigurement, all in my earshot, negatively.

This is even choreographed better than the current Broadway version...
Bobby and Laura are both so adorable. I want to just put them in my pocket.

Honestly, I'm not too crazy about the first half of this. But I'm OBSESSED with the second half. LOVE Bobby Steggert and Laura Osnes.
That is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
I enjoyed watching all four, the choreo was great and I love Jenn´s and Laura´s voices :)
I ADORE Laura Osnes.
Why, when he's offering her a blue chip future of riches, does he offer her a piece of obviously junk jewelry strung on elastic at 0:31?
i have watched this so many times

I used to say that I hate reality TV. But then along came Laura Osnes. I now say I hate most reality TV.
Excellent comment. You've hit the nail right on the head.

Follies
Follies
what show is this song originally from?
from a musical called Follies written by Stephen Sondheim
I agree. Her tattoo looks bloody ridiculous.
nothing agains people having tattoos, but...that's just an ugly tattoo
great performance though ;-)
The girl's tattoo ruins the number for me. I'm sure they could have found a comparable or better tattooless actress.

Seven years later and both of them are still Broadway stars ;)

@Merkin4pres64 Yes, 'cause a tattoos are certainly only found on strippers and low-lifes now, aren't they?
