I was confused as to why the gts-r viper was called the jersey xs and then I remembered.
You can rename cars in this game

That's right. I only renamed the Viper because it's a reference to the previous game, Midnight Club II. I did the same thing with the Lotus Elise. In that game, Rockstar didn't have the rights to use the real names of the cars, so they gave fictional names instead.
