At the time evolve was a really interesting concept following left 4 dead. I was working at QC games in 2018 on a similar 4v1 pvpne game, and saw the challenges that came with balancing these types of games firsthand. At the end of the day I feel like the early access monetization models, combined with that difficulty in balancing the elo were what threw evolve, as you observed. Plus a layer of internal vision misalignments, perhaps. Sudden jolts in monetization models are rarely well received by the community
This very good video, i just got yourubes in my countri and reely enjoyed!
It seems that the Turtlerock devs got a little too big for their shell...
... I'll see myself out.
Ah, I don’t know how I didn’t think of that. That’s perfect 😂
Great video! I remember both of these games bumming me out. The behind the scenes of what happened are fascinating to learn about👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

I honestly did enjoy Back 4 Blood for a couple of months though I didn't get into Evolve. Anyway your video is well done!
Appreciate it thanks a lot man! I really wish I could’ve enjoyed Back 4 Blood more, so I’m glad you had fun with it!
Good video. Didn't really play these games when I was younger still liked it though
Appreciate it, thanks as always for watching.
Great commentary
Much appreciated
