My word..the man can act, the man can sing, the man can dance...and he has a beautiful wife, and two children. Some people seem to have it all, and my hat is off to Hugh Jackman and his family.
This man is a triple threat for sure...It's worth to remember that he was a musical actor before he ever was Wolverine...And the Oscar nomination for Les Miserables was well deserved. Didn't he get a Tony for The Boy From Oz?
My brother works in the film industry and does publicity interviews for movie trailers. He got the opportunity to talk with Hugh Jackman at considerable length on several occasions. My brother also happens to have an adult son who has an IQ in the 175 range, super-genius; Stephen-hawking type math skills plus a law-degree, invited into government-sponsored think-tanks, etc. My brother tells me that Hugh Jackman is the only person he's ever talked to that is as intelligent as his own son.
Great video. Great man. He is so cute when you see him in pictures with his kids. To me there is something very sexy about a man who spends a lot of time with his kids.
It doesn't matter gay or straight we love to perform and study our craft to make it our dream to entertain people and leave the world a better place. Peter did this everytime he stepped out on the stage. The man was a star and one of the last ones in my book. Hugh did a great job portraying Peter and if you listen close it really does sound like peter.
He is a great actor...bet he took ballet when he was a kid, look at the way he dances. And sings really well too. Look at him in the London National Theatre production of Oklahoma.. the best Curly ever..Then his current reincarnation in rally macho buffed parts.. amazing.
Wow! this is one talented dude! I haven't seen this (or something like it, ahem, cough cough) in awhile. Great reminder of why he won the Tony for this performance. Thankyou so much for posting...Im watching them over and over in case they get pulled....
I think for Hugh getting his MANLY MAN cred as Wolverine while het married was needed before he could show off his real passion for show and dance. In this day and age the prejudice against straight men enjoying stage and dance is sad.
Celebrated newcomer Paul Mescal can act and sing, and he first found his passion for performing by winning the lead roles in musical theatre. Let's hope he'll go there in his career.
"Hello up there on the balcony. See, this time you're the ones with the view." I'd love to have been on that balcony, or even better...one of the people helping him change his clothes.
It meant SO much to me in my high school years that Hugh did this show - homophobia in my high school was strong, and to most boys at the time Wolverine represented everything "manly" in the traditional sense. But then he did this.
Hugh isnt gay as they.werent Kelly and Astaire .Yes there are gay talented performers like Neil Patrick Harris Raul Esparza and Peter Allen to name a few.But Jackman a straight man performed Allen a gay man beautifuly. The talent is the most important thing for me not their sexual choices. Great Hugh Jackman
He is playing. You know, there is something called "range". Hugh has one of the biggest acting range and this is one part of it. He can dance and sing. He isn´t gay, and even if he was (or anybody else), who the hell cares?
Well just think.....if Dougray Scott wasn't stuck with MI2 with Tom Cruise. He would have played Wolverine and we would have been saying Hugh Jackmen who? I wonder if Dougray did any test footage.
His dancing is pretty good here considering how few dancing lesson he'd had before the show. However, I've heard from a few people who saw the boy from oz in australia that his dancing there was a lot better, because he'd had more dancing lessons. I hope someday someone will post legs diamond from the australia show on youtube..
@icbutts66 Except for the fact that he is playing Peter Allen, who wrote, among many other songs: Don't Cry Out Loud." " I Honestly Love You, and "I Go To Rio."
fuck there goes my hero Wolverine down the drain :-p I waited over 4 minutes and no claws :-p he's quite the entertainer. Funny that most people like Me know him as wolverine
Hugh missed the boat...He plays Peter like Ethyl Merman -- Peter was not a belter. And I was there for the VIP only opening night on B'way in Oct. 2003. I was happy to be there to see my friend honored, but Jackman fell short, but was supported by the press, who never supported Peter -- odd eh?
My word..the man can act, the man can sing, the man can dance...and he has a beautiful wife, and two children. Some people seem to have it all, and my hat is off to Hugh Jackman and his family.
Matthew Brown his wife Was beautiful when they married but now she isn't the pretty as she was before
He can also deadlift 400 lbs.
@@MegaAnitnelav The two are separated I think, as of 2023.
I have always yearned for a DVD of this, and his one man Broadway show....I can't ever get enough of him.
This is a fabulous number!!! Great showcase of his singing & dancing talent! Hope he does something like this for the Oscars!
This man is a triple threat for sure...It's worth to remember that he was a musical actor before he ever was Wolverine...And the Oscar nomination for Les Miserables was well deserved. Didn't he get a Tony for The Boy From Oz?
Singing? Check
Dansing? Check
Acting? Check
Presenting? Check
What the hell?! Is there anything Hugh Jackman can't do?
He's better at being Peter Allen than Peter Allen was.
Dancing
That's why I love him so much ❤️ since I was 5 years old. Am born in 2000 ❤
God, the man is such a charmer...honestly, could he be sexier?
He's so talented in whatever he does!

Great video.
Great man.

I hear you.....good point
Celebrated newcomer Paul Mescal can act and sing, and he first found his passion for performing by winning the lead roles in musical theatre. Let's hope he'll go there in his career.
I shall never look at wolverine the same way again...lol I LOVE THIS!!!!!
Hugh resurrects Gene Kelly's dancer stage performer pansexiness in an okay masculine style.
God, what a dancer.
Multitalented much ♥
Hugh Jackman is amazing lol
God bless you!
"Hello up there on the balcony. See, this time you're the ones with the view." I'd love to have been on that balcony, or even better...one of the people helping him change his clothes.
He sure could perform like Peter. He was also a Australian. Same accsent.
Just so amazing
We need a Wolverine musical 😂😂
watching over and over
wow. Hugh Jackman is amazing.
He can play a badass....
then this!!?!?!
is there any he can't do?!?!?!
It meant SO much to me in my high school years that Hugh did this show - homophobia in my high school was strong, and to most boys at the time Wolverine represented everything "manly" in the traditional sense. But then he did this.
I wouldn't care if Hugh was gay or not but we all know he isn't. He's so talented. But I agree with you 100 percent.

great song!
Is there *anything* Hugh Jackman *can't* do well?
NO !!!!!!!!
God, it's my dream to dance with him like that.
I know that.. I've known that for years. I was talking about his dancing in the australia tour in 06 which was better, according to people who saw it
Peter Allen.
All that Jazz!😊
He is playing. You know, there is something called "range". Hugh has one of the biggest acting range and this is one part of it. He can dance and sing. He isn´t gay, and even if he was (or anybody else), who the hell cares?
😂😂😂😂😂
I AM NOT(REALLY)THE BOY NEXT DOOR.
Me: Hugh Jackman the man you are. He should seriously do more comedic stuff. His hilarious and charming.
Well just think.....if Dougray Scott wasn't stuck with MI2 with Tom Cruise. He would have played Wolverine and we would have been saying Hugh Jackmen who? I wonder if Dougray did any test footage.

It's official : the perfect man exists and is Deborah Lee Furnes' husband! (lucky you, Debbie!)
@icbutts66 Except for the fact that he is playing Peter Allen, who wrote, among many other songs: Don't Cry Out Loud." " I Honestly Love You, and "I Go To Rio."
When are we going to see this show in Britain!?
Andy B

Why no words?
@Love4Music94 I agree :)
@megarouge2001 Ah! Because my left speaker is effed up. Nevermind!
i think he was havin a bad day....
is he Huge Jackman the Xmen Actor i've known ? :/
Yeah. He started out in musical theatre haha
Nice, but I still like Peter Allen's rendition better.
fuck there goes my hero Wolverine down the drain :-p I waited over 4 minutes and no claws :-p he's quite the entertainer. Funny that most people like Me know him as wolverine
Well I guess there have to be be some single fathers out there due to widowhood, divorce. Not as many as in sappy chick flicks,
Too bad that most men who spend a lot of time with their kids are in a relationship... :/ :D
He's shouting it
Hugh missed the boat...He plays Peter like Ethyl Merman -- Peter was not a belter.

yo le bailo mejor
In the original "Boy From Oz" Peter was played by Todd McKenny, he was 10 times better than Hugh, but Broadway wanted a Star (Broadway's Loss)
Horrible picture ? Get real !
