@@FrecklePecker : That's kind of what the movie's about, I think. There had been the idea that journalists just don't cover the private lives of politicians, so JFK's affairs were an open secret among the powerful but unknown (at the time) to most people. Gary Hart started an era when they would cover it and it could bring them down (although it could also be defused, as the Clintons did with the 1992 interview on 60 Minutes). Now that may be ending, as Trump teaches us to have no shame and just tell the press to fuck off.

How does anybody look "charming" in a dictionary? It'sn't a photo album!
Ha ha, I too remember when a sex scandal could destroy a presidential candidate! Boy, those were the days!
@CaptainJayOT : Did I miss something? Who's 95 and MeTooed posthumously?
@VividChi : And he was MeTooed earlier this year, (which I did miss). Good catch!
@Bryan Timberlake : You mean if the Clintons hadn't handled the Gennifer Flowers controversy so slickly, then perhaps Juanita Broaddrick would have come forward earlier, leading to a prosecution and conviction? Maybe.
Tell that to JFK. I'll spare the details and let you do a quick Google search on your own time.
What a class act! Everytime I see his interviews I like him even more
