God I love this scene. Their love story dominated the majority of the series, even while Dylan was gone! Their connection is canon. They are soul mates. I wish it had been them that were married in the finale, along with Donna and David. But it's not a coincidence that the last line of the series is spoken by Kelly, to Dylan.
You cannot be serious they were together for 1 season and she said she loved Brandon and chose him they only ended up together because Jason Priestley left the show the whole cast and crew and even Arron Spelling said Brandon and Kelly were the intended endgame and that's a FACT.

Kelly and Dylan had been thinkin of each other since elementary school. Nothing materialized and when it did, it was hard work, heart break, passion, love, sacrifice, romance, etc. It's called realty. Aaron gave us "life" with that pair in the show. "Walsh" is not life. K/D was not a "love story"? They were the epitamy of a true love story.

Next you say if Shannon returned Brenda would have gotten back with Dylan. Make up your mind which is it? "nothing that happened season 3 really counts to me". That must suck..so out of 10 season, you must play season 2 on loop huh? lol
LOL seriously!! I always start from season 3. I thought Dylan and Brenda were boring - it just felt like something was missing with them and I saw it when D & K got together - it was the awesome chemistry and passion! Also, I hate when people say if Shannen hadnt left it would have been her and Dylan; if thats the case, they never would have had Kelly and Dylan in that type of storyline where basically its being told to the audience that they are destined for each other by mentioning the words "soul mate". And this was way before Shannen left the show! If Brenda and Dylan were end game they would not have made Dylan and Kelly's connection that deep because it wouldn't make sense to put D and B together after all of that! it was the summer of love and yes I think kelly should have waited until Dylan and Brenda were broken up before messing around but this is a show! I will say when watching it in my younger years when it aired, I got used to Dylan and Brenda that I thought it was so weird that they ran full on with kelly and Dylan and I just felt bad for Brenda but getting older you see the kelly and Dylan were it for each other and Brenda was more like family that Dylan never had.
Someone help me with the interpretation of this line, do you think he was referring to when he secretly saw her on her wedding day and didn’t say anything OR how he sees her in future in his mind when she in future marries….?!?!

High school sweethearts used for categorization, not a biding contract. All of the characters got with others while dating. Dylan: fling with horse ranch lady (during kelly), one night stand while with Gina, Kelly: back and forth between dylan and brandon while dating other, David: during season 3 while recording records with steve. Brandon: Emily and girl season 8
Basically what this tells me is that Dylan likes himself more than he likes Brenda or Kelly. He keeps jumping from one to the other on a whim.. as much as I liked Brandon and Kelly he was better off leaving these two to each other cause they really deserve each other and I DONT mean that as a compliment.
@brendamccay the characters forgot about each other from time to time. Yes, Dylan forgot about Kelly at times. So did Brenda...I know you remember Paris..which then later turned into Beverly Hills...that was romantic lol.

Sorry to ruin the party guys, but K/D were never the LOVE STORY that B/D were & THEY NEVER held a candle to B/D's chemistry either. B/D had it from the beginning. It took K/D like 6 seasons to get it together & of course the true great loves of their lives had to be gone for them to work.. The Walshes. Lol
