I think the frame rate is affected by the headset used. I use the quest 2 paired with virtual desktop and my frames are fine probably because the resolution on the quest 2 is less than the index so less data to push. I'm on a gtx 970 with a ryzen 5. But yeah, the game does need to be optimised for those other headsets. I have the steam version.
That and the oculus versions have turned down graphics which help the frame rate. Also recording at 1440p bogs things down a bit as well

I was really looking forward to this but I refuse to play a VR game with this kind of performance. Huge frame drops like this in VR are so jarring; I just can't stand it.

6:45 i don't know why but whenever i open that exact door and walk through, my entire game just freaking crashes. i don't know whats wrong with it, but the error message that pops up is:
