Just started playing this game three days ago, invested about 16 hours into it and it was so much fun, I thought it would be a great game for DF to try and three days later DF is playing it, life is good.

He doesn’t deserve it plus it cost him free loot which will spawn every time he goes to Igor house.
The shoot on sight strategy got him killed more than any stuff.

As much as DF says he has no patience he did pretty good for a game where you can't just rush in and murder (except poor Igor, lol). Also, when did Zero Sievert get grenades, that is awesome! I burned myself out on the demo and when it first came out, but it looks like there's a lot of new stuff I need to do. Thanks again DF!

It's after you do a quest for him. There's another quest that involves Igor later, which comes in right around the time that his loot isn't all that useful anymore.
Man, i have way too many hours into this game. It's a steep learning curve, but theres some funny missions and tons of ways to die hilariously. The recent update added a ton of great features. If anybody's curious, there's way more to this game than the video shows, i'd recommend trying it out.
Not for all, at least for me. This is like top down Tarkov. Items are very similar, loot mechanics, spawn in raid, etc. Most of these scream Tarkov. And I never knew this exists after putting over 2.5k hours into tarkov, which sent me to find similar games, but not this for some reason. Thank God, I've been watching DF for so long to see him play it. Gonna have to play this myself for sure

The Mozin starting gear option (which comes with a scope) is one of the best starting load-outs, at least currently. Makes the first few zones a sinch, at least until you unlock better guns.

The shoot on sight strategy will not work in this game you’re only gonna die and if you survive well lose good free loot.
For example don’t kill Igor he will have a chest which gives you random loot.

To any people who haven't played the game, this footage doesnt include the unbalanced and broken glance system that was included in an update. I had around 90 hours in the game before it dropped and then never played again after that. The new system is, to be frank, quite unfun and unbalanced due to guns now having the range of your average nerf dart (not to mention guns like the ak47 and mosin nagant having a minimum range before they do their job). The way the glancing system works is that if an enemy is outside of the comically small effective range they almost cannot be killed.
Edit: it would appear that instead of having the footage recorded before the update, he instead toned it down (you cannot edit the system in the game, you have to go into the game files and change the values) but that more demonstrates that the system isnt playable atm
