Hi everyone, I'm Teofix the programmer of this game. Thank you DF for playing it! Just a side note. It's called Slimy Clicker, not Slime Clicker. And yeah, watching that poor Reduced cost not getting used was painful to say the least.

The game listed in the description seems to be incorrect. (edit: I did find it in the end: "Slimy Clicker by Teofix, Devillas, BillyTheWhizz" on itch. Issue was just many other games by the name slime clicker)

That was a nice game! I like it when there's a maximum level for an upgrade and an end to a game. It's less boring this way (compared to similar games anyways), and it makes you explore and upgrade other stuff too.

It feeds into a loop of compulsion. Same reason why hard games become more viral than easy ones. Recent example being Fear & Hunger. The “I definitely won’t make the same mistakes” aspect. The wonder of games in general.

It's crazy how much of a variety df playes not like all the other youtubers who stick to one thing
well, the games he plays are pretty much copy pastes of each other, click a button, get an upgrade, and click more. We have seen the same exact format over countless games. His content is still enjoyable because he makes the games fun for the audience.

He plays mostly 1 or 2 genres of games (Idle/Clicker games and Roblox things)
People play the same thing because UA-cam pushes those videos for an audience. Not really their fault, people just gotta put food on the table.
