Can you reuse the caliper bolts and just locktite them with maybe blue loctite?
For whatever it's worth: The 2010 GM Factory Shop Manual (P. 5-65) states to tighten the caliper bracket bolts to "40 N.m (33 lb ft) + 90 degrees". Not 40 ft lb + 90 degrees.
Antiseize bro!!
Is this the same process with the 2010 Camaro SS with brimbo brakes?
What would happen if I reused the caliper bolts? What makes them one time use?
I reused my caliper bracket bolts. How unsafe is this to do?
You’re good just use antiseize
Okay, so I know in this video you're working on a Camaro but this same part# from 1aauto also fits the 2nd gen Cadillac CTS models ('08 to '13) and I just have to let everybody w/ a Cadillac know that was directed to this install video like me that the hub-to-knuckle bolt torque spec. is 100 lb-ft! NOT 79 like this Camaro! This comes from my gm service manual AND I called my local dealership who also verified this using my VIN#!
Do we have to grease the hub up before putting it on?
Great video 🙌🏽

Hi, how many inch pounds is for hub bolts?
What’s the Sizes of the small screw?
So is there not an axle nut on the front hub assemblies?
Only on all wheel drive.
Or 4 wheel drive
Do you have the GM part numbers for all of the bolts - 3x hub mounting bolts, 2x caliper mounting bolts, and 1x rotor retaining bolt? Thanks
+364wbt Thanks for watching, but unfortunately we do not have the OE part numbers for the bolts. 1aauto.com
Are both front right and left hub bearings the same part/part number (is it the same hub bearing or is there one for the right and one for the left front?)
+Joe Garcia Thanks for watching. The front wheel hubs are interchangeable for this model, so one part will fit on both sides. Here is a link to them if you need to make a purchase: www.1aauto.com/cadillac-cts-chevy-camaro-wheel-bearing-and-hub-assembly-pair/i/1ashs00681?UA-cam&CTA+Comment&OV6FjsKU
Damn good video
And how many inch pounds for the T30 bolt?
Tighten the T30 screw to 89 inch-pounds Thanks for watching! +chanel two
Because we live in new England things are rusty so rotors are rusty .... makes no sense lmao come on 1A Auto xD
+American Muscle305 Thank you for checking us out. New England certainly makes it tougher to replace parts. We are based in Massachusetts, and if this was an older vehicle it would be tougher to replace. 1aauto.com
💯💯
aren't you supposed to take the wheel bolts off in a cross pattern??
+American Muscle305 Thank you for checking us out. Removal of the wheel bolts may be any pattern, but when torquing down, it must go in a star pattern. 1aauto.com
