There's no need to add lyrics at this. This is a very beautiful song, and I think this is able to talk by itself, and that's for me one of the biggest advantages of this band: alive musics.
Okay, so after listening to the album countless times over and over again, I feel like it is safe to say that this is my favourite song off of it. It's hard to say, cause I genuinely love all of them, but still feel like this "speaks" to me the most. So much to say, with barely any words. The emotions that this song is able to convey are just beyond me. How is a band this talented? How are people this talented born, only to meet with equally talented people and make music like this? It's incredible. Also, I need to mention that last part - while it is indeed slugy as fuck, I have a super strong feeling of sadness, maybe even some desperation, from it. The last, heaviest part, just feels like someone saying "I'm done" and it hits me so much. Not only is it a pure banger, it makes my entire spine chill. It's incredible.
+Kid Nothing It's much better than a drum machine, though, because he has all the expression and irregularity of a real person while still surpassing the limitations of most real drummers. It also helps that his kit sounds massive on this record.
MeowTheRainbowX you can achieve everything you just said with a drum machine, it depends on the person using the machine. There's no need to get all hipster to try and show how woke you are. Love you, hope you have a great day!
Same here. I love vocals and lyrics so much that even when the music is amazing, I'm not often able to get into instrumental music as much as I wish I was, so I was worried. But then they posted like a 15 second clip of what they'd been working on and I knew it was going to be better than fine.
I'm over here packing with this playing on the speakers. Right at the 3:00 min mark, I looked over and was like, "Alright.." Then 3:06 hit and I stopped to walk over and was like, "...AYY...OKAY..." Bobbing my head throughout.. I SEE YOU
Holy hell! Was not expecting this from these guys. Been listening to them since the beginning and their instrumentals have always been flawless but they just took their music to a whole new level of insanity. Goddamn impressive 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I don't think I could beat god of war on the hardest difficulty without this album but especially this song on full repeat. The way this song flows during any kind of combat is absurdly satisfying. So much power.
Don't get me wrong, Into The Vanishing was an underrated album and an interesting direction for the band, but this song gives me the same excitement I had when I first heard this band back when they were called The Sound Archives. Absolutely incredible. I really hope they just didn't drop the longest song on the record haha. The end is very He Is Legend's "That's Nasty". Sludgy as fuck.
Now we just need a replacement for the new X JAPAN album, and the hole in my heart may finally be filled. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone else could live up to that hype. Yoshiki is awesome, but he needs to get his priorities straight. I'm sorry if you don't get it. I need someplace to vent.
So, is this the drummer community's long overdue response to Joe Satriani,??..i guess, then?..huh...?... yup, it's gotta be...cool.. oh, btw, in my re~al~eTi, Africa is allegedly SOUTH of the equator, or at least mostly anyhow, so...there's that little tasty tidbit of 4now1edge to chew on 4ya...!
Thank god Doug left. This sounds way better. I honestly think Doug was just an element in this band which was breaking other band members to express themselves completly
Cobu Lini I have to disagree. The band members were still able to express them selves the way they wanted too. It just wasn't the centre stage as that was given to Doug's singing. I feel songs without singing have a tendency to drag on and although maybe musically amazing it's harder for the wider audience to attatch them selves to the music and the song. Don't get me wrong I love the music but it feels cinamtic instead of a song.
Billy Alarie not really. Song is split into 3 sections, repeating the intro part before going into each section. Typical song structure, just with NV flair.
Don't write them off like that. They existed for years without him and are capable of releasing great material regardless of the presence of a singer or not.
I gotta second that, man. Doug's a great vocalist, but these guys are one of the few bands that make music interesting enough to sustain listeners without a vocalist.
Have loved Dougs edition to the band since the beginning. This is exactly how I picture this band though. They just want to shred and let the instruments do the talking. Its truly a beautiful experience and pleasure hearing the new route. They sound odd and unique, but they fit in seriously well touring with Prog instrumental bands. Its their best shot to be heard. They remind me of tool and dream theatre plus more. They sound like themselves still. Its insanely satifying and a breath of fresh air in music. So counting them off won't help NIGHT VERSES. Think about how incredible this would be live instrumentally.
David Johnston - well said sir. I just saw them 7/7 in St. Paul - they bring it live big time just like they always did - very good stage presence and PHENOMENAL playing - I didn't hear a single note missed the entire set.
Nothing like having a track cover tons of emotions...serenity, anxiety, happiness, anger, melancholy etc.
Slowly becoming obsessed with this band and I can't wait to see them live.
I love the prerecorded voiceover bits. They carry a lot of weight without a vocalist and and well done here.
I didn't know a drum kit could withstand that kind of thrashing.. or that guitars made those sounds. Bravo, Night Verses.
There's no need to add lyrics at this. This is a very beautiful song, and I think this is able to talk by itself, and that's for me one of the biggest advantages of this band: alive musics.
Dayum. Very, very impressive. Glad this band turned into this.
Absolutely incredible. The fact that you guys and Coheed each dropped 10 minute epics today is legendary.
I listened to that one like 20 mins ago haha
That is the only reason I even decided to watch this video. New music binge.
Perhaps, one of the best songs EVER?? Who knows?
Night Verses is never disappointing. Love seeing this band progress

How am I just hearing this now?? I must live under a rock
What did we do to deserve Aric's drumming?
Charlie Österlund // Drums right? Sounds like a drum machine with the accuracy, I'm so jealous at their control and speed!
+Kid Nothing It's much better than a drum machine, though, because he has all the expression and irregularity of a real person while still surpassing the limitations of most real drummers. It also helps that his kit sounds massive on this record.
MeowTheRainbowX plus with his digital sample pad he adds so many textures and dynamics, and those voice clips. Oof.
Enter the next Dimension
MeowTheRainbowX you can achieve everything you just said with a drum machine, it depends on the person using the machine. There's no need to get all hipster to try and show how woke you are.
Love you, hope you have a great day!
Just WOW, This is Fantastic. still cant believe their music . this is amazing... Stay Instrumental FOREVER
That transition at 1:29 is so satisfying.
Seriously, that fill is a journey all to itself haha.
Nine minutes and forty-three seconds of total fucking bliss. Thank you Night Verses. 💜💜
incredible composition, the mix lets it breath and shine well dang
The best song of 2018 so far personally, impressive!
Hell yeah man! :)
Death Grips - The Fear
Your real dad Uhh...
Holy shit. I was worried when they announced they were gonna continue on as an instrumental group, but this is amazing.
Alex Pantoja I'm loving the instrumentals but is it wierd I can sorta see it fit into a screamo song?
Yeah man - I loved Doug, but in a lot of ways I like this even better. The musicianship is truly next level.
Vocals would only be in the way of the masterpieces they make.
Same here. I love vocals and lyrics so much that even when the music is amazing, I'm not often able to get into instrumental music as much as I wish I was, so I was worried. But then they posted like a 15 second clip of what they'd been working on and I knew it was going to be better than fine.
Honestly they should of always been an instrumental group. I loved the vocals but the instruments are way fuckin better.
I'm over here packing with this playing on the speakers.
Right at the 3:00 min mark, I looked over and was like, "Alright.."
Then 3:06 hit and I stopped to walk over and was like, "...AYY...OKAY..."
Bobbing my head throughout..
I SEE YOU
LOVE this piece!
They need to make music like this for a movie or anime or something. It’d be reallll dope
that's just incredible!!!
First time listener of the band. SO glad I found this!
Listen to Copper Wasp EP. It's also instrumental, great stuff
Holy hell! Was not expecting this from these guys. Been listening to them since the beginning and their instrumentals have always been flawless but they just took their music to a whole new level of insanity. Goddamn impressive 🤘🏽🤘🏽
just found out about this band yesterday and holy fuck im glad I did.
WOW
Love the tone of everything in this setup. Vibe.
Excellent. So unique and intense.
Amazing, no other words needed.
This is my favorite instrumental band by far. These guys are all fucking super talented
This is a masterpiece
This is beautiful. Very nice transitions, especially. Feels almost like a boss battle.
I don't think I could beat god of war on the hardest difficulty without this album but especially this song on full repeat. The way this song flows during any kind of combat is absurdly satisfying. So much power.
yes
This is some truly next level shit. Sometimes lyrics just aren't necessary when you have a song like this.
Well DAMN!! This was amazing!!. Can't wait for the other nuggets to drop!
Insane
That fucking bass riff midway through the song. Goddddd damn
If love to sing on this track. Amazing
Don't get me wrong, Into The Vanishing was an underrated album and an interesting direction for the band, but this song gives me the same excitement I had when I first heard this band back when they were called The Sound Archives.

I was expecting this to be something completely fucking different, but it's kind of like an instru-prog Northlane meets Punk and mathcore. NUTS.
Liked. Unliked, and hit the like button again. Rinse and repeat.
Wish Doug's vocals were on it :( it's good but just feels like sometjings missing
if you put in 0.75x speed it sounds like humans playing
IT NEEDS DOUG
Thank god Doug left. This sounds way better. I honestly think Doug was just an element in this band which was breaking other band members to express themselves completly

way too busy. too much going on here.
Billy Alarie not really. Song is split into 3 sections, repeating the intro part before going into each section. Typical song structure, just with NV flair.
No Doug....sorry ,not complete
