    Good work bro, very smart to have thought about this idea, and you know how to make homemade inox downpipes?

    How’d the hacksaw go on the stainless? I’m considering doing the same. What gauge blade did you use

    Hey man, I need help. I want to make a handmade exhaust for CBR F3. Can you please tell me dimensions of this exhaust after cuting?

    First off let me just say this video is amazingly hilarious, had me literally laugh out loud, gave it a thumbs up!
    I'm considering doing this to my 2017 Honda Rebel 500 so I've gotta ask, did you feel any decrease in power after the modification? Regarding backpressure and all that. Thanks in advance!

      @MrScififan  5 років тому

      Thanks buddy - to be honest I probably lost a slight amount of mid range, although I say slight because it was barely noticeable, the bike was still as quick as ever

      2 strokes benefit from back pressure by forcing escaped unburned fuel back thru the outlet with pressure waves generated by the distinct 2 stroke pipe

      I did this to my 50cc bike that is a copy of the Honda Rebel/Jazz 50cc and the sound is incredible afterwards, since it's 4-stroke I don't feel any difference in power, and there is a possibility to re-attach it in case one get's tired of the sound (although the look of the exhaust won't be as good as before).,

    i have a 2006 zx14 with decat header and vance and hines cs1 dual muffler slipons and it sounds good and deep but isnt loud enough.. so body of mufflers are 14" what should i cut them too? ive heard 2" but im thinking of doing 5.5" so there 8.5" bodys..what u think? i like loud but not to point it sounds straigh piped and tractor sounding

    • @MrScififan
      @MrScififan  6 років тому

      I would go on the cautious side and cut little at a time and see how it sounds. If you're thinking of cutting 5.5 off then maybe start with 2.25, see how it sounds, and if it's not loud enough then another 2.25.

    Was it much louder after this? My SV has an old Scorpion titanium can which sounds lovely but is huge!

    • @MrScififan
      @MrScififan  5 років тому

      Mark Drewitt Yeah definitely made a difference - it wasn’t stupidly loud afterwards but just added that extra volume as the standard Fuel can sounded similar to the stock exhaust

      @markdrewitt8368 5 років тому

      @@MrScififan could be a problem, my Scorpion is already loud and it's my commuter.

    • @MrScififan
      @MrScififan  5 років тому

      Mark Drewitt Can’t go wrong with the sound of a loud v-twin - maybe trim it down by around 5cm or so and it shouldn’t make it ‘too’ much louder

    Hard to believe there are still guys trolling around out there using exhaust noise to get people to notice them.
