Hobbyist bred fish are so hardy, I bought some hobbyist bred rice fish local to my area. Their adults are HUGE and the juveniles I bought are growing rapidly. I’ve talked to them personally and they got breeding ethics I agree with. Which involve trying to have a diverse gene pool and a good culling regime. We had a nice conversation about breeding fish and breeder talk. Hobbyist bred fish definitely beat mass bred farm fish.
Nice video, also your newsletter has me hooked! I paid for some guppy stock a few months ago from a breeder and the quality is very different from my local chain. I'm cycling some tanks eyeing some of your sites fish! haha, quality fish are so much stronger and i look forward to getting some of your fish someday.
We'll have pairs/trios listed in a week or so. We have a great harem for sale right now though. dansfish.com/product.detail/2454/Apisto-agassizii-'Fire-Red'-Breeding-Group-(1M5F)-(Apistogramma-agassizii)
I would consider it a lifetime achievement goal, to actually raise some fish, and sell them to Dan. I'm working on apistogramma cacatuoides gold form I'm currently working on. You the man Dan! Side note, those dwarf red tail eels are my favorite fish I own. They are so cool! I keep hoping to get some spawning action out of them!
It will be enormously, gigantically, tremendously, wonderful and great if you make a video about those dwarf red tail eels and I will be grateful forever and after that :)
I don't usually groove w the cichlids, but those Ananocara sp. are way too cute!! They look like they're hovering rather than swimming! And those Corydoras sterbai... Holy guacamole! Super awesome!!

the gold lasers are tip top
I predict those dwarf spiny eels are going to become mega popular--a nano spiny eel is just too good to pass up once people realize
Let’s get some more eels please
I try EVERY time...there simply are not any available at the moment.
I want a pair of those fire red apistos

How large do the red tail dwarf eels get?
We haven't had anyone report to us that they've grown over 7 inches.
As always really awesome and very cool looking fish thanks for sharing 💗💯✌️👍

What are the pellets you’re feeding? They love that stuff. I would love to get some of those. They look like they’d be really healthy. Let me know.
Those pellets are Hikari Massivore.
Thank you ever so much. I will see if they carry them in Canada. Thanks for replying back so soon, I really appreciate it.
All good.

Such wonderful aquarium bred fish! The dwarf eels look really cool 😎
Fantastic as always -- love you guys!
Wow those sterbais were some of the best specimens ive ever seen!
How can we find out more information about those dwarf redtail eels such as breeding, sexing etc?
Hello Gary. I wish I had more info about that, but the breeder is keeping that info under wraps.
@@DansFish that’s odd as most breeders like to share their breeding experiences. What pRt of Canada can you ship to?

Thanks, didn’t think of that 🙏
