If interested, the grip strength device mentioned is called a "handgrip dynamometer".

Isometric wall squats even better than grip exercises. See British medical journal article for isometric wall squats on reducing blood pressure.

You are correct , you should do it for 2 minutes, than rest for 1-2 minutes and do it again. rea[te for 4 times holds at least 4 time a week. (It's not easy )

I like to think of a bridge with heavy traffic on it. The traffic lightly damages the bridge, but you close it after your stress to allow the construction workers to rebuild and upgrade it to make it stronger next time. Brief stress followed by long recovery is the key to long-term success.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) followed by sleep/rest induces cardiovascular adaptations that decreases high blood pressure. even if HIIT is only squeezing hand grips ten to twenty times as long as it causes temporary elevated blood pressure

I didn't catch what he called them but I'm guessing what he allude to are,
hand grippers/forearm strengthers. If you Google that you should be will be able to choose a pair that suits you.

There's a cross-sectional study involving 4597 participants in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) that contradicts this: Handgrip strength is positively related to blood pressure and hypertension risk: results from the National Health and nutrition examination survey

Only in overweight and obese individuals. Perhaps the overweight bit might be to blame perhaps. Just guessing. From the paper “ Our findings show that higher grip strength is related to higher BP in overweight or obese individuals, or those with a high BF%. Having a BMI

Correlation is not proof of causation.
The studies he's referring to show a correlation between blood pressure and hand strength.
Studies that have been specifically designed to prove causality have shown that sitting for 15 mins a day are just as effective for reducing blood pressure as isometric grip strengthening.
