- With the swell down on the west coast it was time to head out and score some treats, I headed out the track I normally use to get there and was stopped and told that it was private land and I couldn't cross. Never mind there is another way to get there, it's just a bit of a hike....

Pretty hard to beat really and looks like a healthy environment with lots of abundance, so cool to see.
Yep the prevailing souwest swells protect the area from getting cleaned out, there is not many chances to dive it when the conditions are this good! Cheers!!!

Really enjoy your videos, looks like an abundant part of the country for sure nice fat crays! I have a question since you have so many paua do you have lots of differnt recipes for cooking them ? I like to boil mine up and then chuck em in the pan for a minute all chopped up with onion tomato and zuccini on rice really yuum
Yeah I have a few different ways of doing them, my latest fave is to slice them thinly across the muscle and then flour, egg and bread crumb. Basically paua schnitzel...Cheers!!!

No I don't know the guy that stopped me but it's all good, it may have been a covid thing as this was just after we had gone to level three. Anyway it didn't matter as I still got out there and got a good feed...Cheers!!!
