  • When the west coast goes flat there is great diving to be had, we took the tandem kayak and made the most of the great conditions.....

    Great video! A big "thank you" for not ruining it with music - I like hearing the sounds just as the divers would! Cheers!

    Kerry, I would love to try free diving, but how can I over come the fear of shark?

    • @KerryFlowers
      @KerryFlowers  3 роки тому +1

      Oh tough question! I guess for me being around them in the water and seeing the way they behave made me realise that they are much more interested in having a feed of a fish than a diver that is something that they don't recognize as food... Cheers!!!

    • @serafinflorendo340
      @serafinflorendo340 3 роки тому

      I didn’t quite get the name that you were digging out with the knife there on those round oval black shells. What are those again? How do you cook and eat them?

      @@serafinflorendo340 - Paua (pronounced "pah-wuh"). You might know them as abalone.
      Get them out of the shell, pound them for a good 2-3 minutes to tenderise them, slice them into thin slices, fry with a wee bit of butter. Beauuuuuuutiful!
