I am 65 years old now, have been in the building trades most of my life. I love watching Leah's videos, even if it's about the most elementary stuff, because, as I have said before, she has the heart of a teacher. That's not to say I haven't learned from her.
Sometimes the lesson is: how to teach. Leah, you rock!

Thank you. I watch a lot of tube because as a single mom and very little money. I have had to do a lot of home repairs myself. Plus I enjoy doing the work right without my house becoming trashed as someone else does the job wrong and charging me a huge bill. Then I have to clean up the mess and do the same job over. I have had this happen many times. A few , very few guys that have worked for me , have taken the time to do the job right and not trash my house. I like the steps and the great way you are able to show your work in detail. Thank you keep up the good work, and God Bless.

I would have just cut a piece of dry wall to roughly the shape I needed
then PVA glue that in then its only needs a skim of plaster to make
perfect also this way means that the drywall is like the mistake was
      never made.

Thanks for putting out a video on this topic! I'm a first-timer in the drywall world finishing my basement. I watched a ton of videos about how to finish the drywall initially, but I made a few mistakes in that process and ended up with walls that didn't look good. It's so useful to have this video as a reference for how to fix my mistakes!

I was watching a few of your older videos the other day and your video quality (picture, sound, shots) is vastly better than it used to be. I have one piece of constructive criticism for you (coming from a place of love). Your logo is confusing, it just clicked for me that it's an eye with eyelashes after a year of watching your videos. That's the only thing bad I can say about your channel, you're amazing. Thanks Leah.

Leah, can you make a video showing how to make this exact same repair but after the wall has been painted. The ceiling in my house was drywalled and mudded and there is a crack along the seam where the drywalls butt up as if they didn't put any drywall tape/paper. Now I'm left with a long line (crack) the lenght of the ceiling but don't know how to fix it cause it is painted. Thanks for the great tutorials.

Thank You Leah!!! Another video that is helping me with my bathroom remodel! I am doing the drywall right now and cut my hole for the waste pipe too big and this was exactly the tip I needed. I'm off to the store to look for that patch!

Hey Cathy, glad it was helpful. Good luck with your remodel! I'd love it if you feel like emailing me pics when it is done.

Absolutely! I am doing it on the weekends so a little bit at a time. Getting there! BTW I found this patch at Menards in the painting section.

I love your videos -- you are so helpful! A question: What if your drywall tape bubble is below the painted wall? Brushing on water won't work then. I've heard of injecting water with a syringe but 1. who has one of those and 2. injecting water into your wall? Is it time to just cut out the bubble?
