Would love to have a "preview" function... The ability to listen to a song without having to drop it into a deck.
Yeah thats something i always wondered why there wasn't, VDJ has a sandbox function where u can actually preview ur mix.
Yes preview and be able to play a crate on autoplay with out gaps for dinner time
Let us not forget FX, they really need to add more FX like duck down, and anything else.
all reasons why i prefer use Virtualdj. Serato just not keeping up to speed with modern features and i don't need to mention stems.

I'm a Rekordbox user. I've got lights with my FLX10... But ehhh.. Those stems... Yikes.
Totally, I’m mainly a house DJ but I have been practicing some open format mixing and stems are great for this. Sadly, I have also realized that rekordbox stems are really bad😂
Algoriddem DJay beat grid and syncing are now unsurpassed. And their stems are better than Serato. And that’s on my phone or iPad. I am so dug deep into Serato I can’t switch but if I did it would be to DJay😊

Auto Play, Autoooooo Plaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy comon they should of had a decent Auto Play years ago! Im sick of racing to the toilet and back again during weddings
How about giving more options in the REPLACE PADS for STEMS.
All I can replace is loop roll and sampler.
My controller doesn’t have loop roll so all I can get rid of is my sampler which is one of the few I use.
(Example: replacing Pitch play instead to use stems )
1) Fix stability on Windows 0:29
2) Fix stability on Windows
3) Fix Video playback freezing on Windows until previous deck is ejected
4) Fix Video crashing on Windows 11 when file name has special characters
5) Did I mention fix stability on Windows?
I really want the waveforms to be more like Rekordbox. I really like how there is an option in Rekordbox to show phase changes near the waveforms.
After using Traktor for years, I’m now incorporating Serato because of STEMS and my Rane Four. I found that Library Management with Serato is very tedious compared to Traktor. To manage the library with Serato, you can only use keyboard shortcuts. With Traktor, you click on the Crate or the entire library and get a Drop-down with multiple options, including “Remove Duplicates.” Super easy! I hope Serato incorporates that into their software very soon.

Serato should move the search song option from the far right to the left side closer to the song titles. In addition it should stop resizing the wave forms. I hate when I go to my effect and return to my song and the way form is 50 percent smaller.
1000% agree with the waveforms resizing…. Need a way to change them back if it happens 🤙🏻
Press Shift and the Space Bar while the songs are playing and they resize to normal size.
I wish we had the option to change the color of the played songs. I was a huge fan of Serato Scratch Live when the played songs turned a cool color green.
Serato needs to do 2 things djay is already doing... implement real time stems and fluid beatgrids. Serato for me has the best UI but is falling behind in tech.
The beat grid needs to start at 0 not 1. The ability to be able to view 2 crates at the same time will be super helpful.

The one song blue thing doesn't come up often but is annoying when it does.
its amazing how serato is very late to the multi bpm or variable bpm game. VDJ had it for 2 years now, algorithm just came out with it. and lighting support is easy as well with open format standards that is supported again by VDJ and Engine.

Serato Beatgrid doesnt suck..its good eno
Seratos beatgridding is probably the most convenient to use and works reasonably well. VDJs autolooping is just a dumpsterfire (does not work on fluctuating BPMs, no matter how well you’ve beatgridded) that it defeats the purpose of having great autogrid detection.
vdj does hv the option to create a manual loop if u really need that. Autogrid usually works well with tracks that are properly quantized and that's not the case with tracks that hv variable bpms

Here's another one....find a way to disable "Q" "A" on your keyboard whenever you type because it accidentally reverses the songs for me during a live set smh

I would hope you can use the dmx jack in the Flx 10 in serato dj - i like the Blue version of 1 song 🎵- and I’m okay with beat grids so far as I beat grid all my older tracks - disco - rock -funk etc.. -is that what you mean ?
0:10 - Traktor has this
1:13 - Traktor Stems sound so good (of course you have to prep them manually) but the control for them has been amazing for years
You're not asking for better beat grids. You're asking for better beat grid analysis
Yes definitely better beat grid and also the waves the way they look is like something from a toy. They need to take them from traktor pro
I'd love for them to display the star rating from the ID3 tags
You can create “dynamic” beatgrids manually. Go “Edit Beatgrid” play the track And press x for some beatgrid markers.

That’s what I do but it’s meticulous and annoying and takes forever and still doesn’t fluctuate with the song like 5.0 does
@@tobsen_coebeatbbq6559 Serato is the only software which lets you do it on the fly, and it works reasonably well. I just listen to the song and tap x on the down beat, and it’s close enough 99% of the time.
