Basically, Bears General Manager Ryan Poles locked himself inside his NFL Combine hotel room with his phone turned off - per Courtney Cronin reporting. Meaning that teams interested in Justin Fields (Vikings & others) couldn't place an offer for Justin Fields services. It's not an accident that when Ryan Poles resurfaced, all NFC teams interested in Justin Fields had gone with their plan B, leaving the Raiders and Steelers as Justin Fields only viable choices for a starting position. The Steelers General Manager Omar Khan has been the number 1 trade partner of the Bears GM and owed him dearly for the Chase Claypool trade. So what better situation than to dupe Fields into believing the Steelers were his only viable choice and give Omar Khan a trade incentive to keep Fields off the playing field as long as possible so Ryan Poles could get a head start with is rookie quarterback without the distraction of the beloved (by Bears fans) Justin Fields playing well in another city. "KARMA" has been kicking Ryan Poles ass all season and will continue after Justin Fields chooses his team in Free Agency.
QB interceptions are not a big thing to me IMO great quarterbacks over come their mistakes...BIG BEN was one of them...I can't think of others at this moment. ..but they overcame them and won...
