    I still need to get the winch working just haven't gotten around to it yet. Also, at the end of the video if you noticed is a trailer hooked up. I got a new toy that is revealed in my community posts and will be in the next video soon!

    You can thin the anti seize with WD-40. Not much but it helps when it gets dry.

    I noticed you were using pb blaster. I quit using pb years ago and switched to kroil. I beat on a clutch on a Polaris xplorer off and on for 2 days. I bought a can of kroil , sprayed it and let sit for 8 hrs. Tapped it with a hammer and it fell off.

    Today my first short test ride, oil coming out the the cv axle on diff side? What did I wrong ? The axle is not close no more to the diff , but it was at installation. What was my fault ?

      Are you talking about the grease leaking out of the boot in one spot where the clamp is, because mine started doing that a week after I uploaded this video. Tbh man I'm not fully sure why but idc anymore I'm just gonna run it anyway.

      At my cat the diff oil is leaking between axle and diff, (axle moved away from diff) I removed everything, because I thought the c-Clip is broken. everything back in, because everything ok. today the axle is complete out the socket! There is maybe a pressure while spinning. Next time I will use these „quick fit glue together cv boots“ without remove everything. I still don’t know what’s the prob with the new „moose“ axle

      Not fully sure, if I see it in real life I can probably diagnose it. It sounds like the c clips isn’t fully seated in the diff, axle not pushed all the way in, or bad axle seal.

      Do you do You Remember if the the cv axle left and right are the same length ? Because maybe I found the problem ,that the replacement axle is to short. I thrown the old away to early like you did ;))))

    Was the popping from the cv joint or from the hub bearing that was seized on axle shaft?

    • @IngenGarage
      @IngenGarage  3 місяці тому +1

      It might be but I have been running the broken shaft for a while and it was getting worse at popping. What other noises could have made that popping you think?

      I’m thinking that the popping was from the bad hub bearing. I’m going through the same thing right now with mine. Radial play on all wheels,torn cv boots and popping.

      I edit clips out to make the video not totally boring and so it won't be 45mins long. I showed what it actually takes to get rust-welded parts apart and hammering axles out of the diff. A lot of people don't include that kind of stuff and if I edit that out it would be under 10mins if that and be very basic and boring. I try to have a nice mix between "technical" and "entertainment".
