As an introvert I can confirm it’ll feel like no one else is there when you see your husband down the aisle and say your vows at the ceremony! Also it’s great you realize that no one is really gonna be caught up in your wedding day details after the wedding so definitely not worth stressing about when possible! I’ve been married almost 2 years and if anyone talks about my wedding day, they talk about how wonderful and emotional the ceremony was, not about the venue, decorations, etc. It’s definitely about creating a union between you and your husband with God at the center of it and not about the day itself! ✝️💕

I've sung for many weddings over many years and one thing that really brings people together is lighting a candle. It's a kind of older but beautiful tradition. I sang for a semi nautical wedding several years ago. The guy was a fisherman and was constantly on the water. That couple was in his boat all the time. They actually lit a beautiful sand candle. It was gorgeous! I'll pray that you will make your wedding day about the Lord and His love for you two!

It is really sooooo not important at the end of the day what colour your wedding had, what food or anything. Just that you have married the love of your life matters. ♡♡♡ relax, enjoy the season, and don't give too much energy to this planning process.

Okay, now that I have *some* sleep in me, I just wanted to say that I was thinking about your praying life. I've struggled with consistency in my life before. The two things that have helped are that my mom used to pray with me every morning before I left for school, and now I pray every morning with my husband before he leaves for work. Make it part of your morning routine (coffee lol) and just take 2-5 minutes to just thank God, ask Him for your provisions, confess anything to Him, and then just ask for His guidance over the day and to walk with you and give wisdom, understanding, and discernment.
