Welcome to a very special moment in my life: telling my husband we are pregnant!!!! I thank Jesus for this beautiful gift! It was surreal seeing that positive pregnancy test and I was shocked! Good luck, your’re going to work and earn money for the child ( well, your husband will at least ), spend sleepless nights for it, and save money for its education, spend your time taking care of it x) I really don’t see how this is good news
Btw, you should have verified before telling him, cause at times, there is a second line and the woman is not pregnant
Some people view having a child as the greatest gift of all. It's a selfless act, some people just aren't built for it because society has brainwashed them into thinking that their life is the only one that matters and it's all about them. If your going to be passive aggressive when someone has good news, just keep it to yourself. You sound like you resent children which is very sad
I get great joy from my daughter and I’m grateful to be able to afford and share my many blessings with her. What good are blessings if they aren’t shared with others? We can’t take it with us when we die so why not share it with others, be it spouse, children, or family? My greatest joy has come from being a mother.
As far as not telling your spouse until you’re 100% sure, a spouse is someone you share everything with so even if someone found out it was a false positive (don’t really exist; it’s mainly false negatives due to not having enough pregnancy hormones built up to show a positive), then my spouse and I would walk through that disappointment together. My guess is that you’re either really young still and haven’t experienced enough life yet to know these things or you’re someone who, for whatever reason, is closed off to love and can’t fully comprehend this level of selflessness that comes only from pure love.
Christians don't go by luck. We have Jesus and what a terrible comment, do you not realise its a gift from God having a child. If you are a Christian then I would have pray to God for a change of heart.
