Thanks for your requests!!! Had a lot of fun with this tune! I watched some live videos, I noticed Mustaine grabs some chords with an upstroke. Sometimes he uses alternate strokes for the verse riff, other times I see him only using downstrokes. How do you feel it out? I guess that is the most important thing. I went with downstrokes with the whole song except for the intro riff. For the solo, he plays it different live. I cover the original take. And for this version, it didn’t sound to me like he does any crazy finger stretches in measure 198. I went with my gut. Have fun with this one guys! Thanks for your support!
I've heard this solo played by so many guitar players and throug so many years... but, the difference with yours is the details in the quality of bendings, speed variations, the accuracy in the notes, Congrats, I really enjoy see you
This solo really exposed my weaknesses as a guitar player. Marty is so outside the box in comparison to most metal guitarists with his approach to solo writing and application of theory.
Right ? He is so sophisticated and technical, yet organic and full of taste. As i grow old, most of the "classic metal" solo work has grown stale on me. Having mostly moved into other genres, Marty is the guy that i turn back to from time to time, and i cant help but smile. His solos are still hard to play even today, and they still sound as fresh and as original as ever. They absolutely hold up. Damn, they are still some of the finest work a metal soloist has done, even by today's guitar standards. Absolutely untouchable.
I also find the initial/main riff to be a bit confusing. Took me nearly half an hour to properly play it. By ear , I thought I was going to have it in 10 min but no haha
Really really well done there. Tornado of Souls has got to be one of Marty's most difficult solos to play during his time in Megadeth and you pulled it off really impressively.

Everyone's talking about the solo, and its certainly among the best...but how about that rhythm track! Complex, melodic, always changing, and Mustaine somehow manages to sing well while playing it. Absolutely astounding. Not just the skill to perform it all - but to also write this masterpiece.
The whole of Rust in Peace is phenomenal melodically, but this song really stands out to me. The whole composition of it is fantastic all the way through!

How about doing the Slash guitar part on Give In To Me by Michael Jackson. I don't care if it's a Michael Jackson song, the outro solo is some of Slash's finest work.
WOW, out of every guitarist who isn't Marty, you have got to be the one who nailed this solo the most! And yes, that includes the actual guitarists who played/are playing with Megadeth. Awesome job! Heck, you're really nailing EVERY song you're uploading (in many cases, you sound exactly like the official recording). Also, your tabs actually look accurate (unlike most on the Internet). @@Mr.Tabs.Guitar.Lessons That’s what makes his playing so fascinating. I’m not a guy that likes to get down with all the theory, modes, and scales. But I can appreciate what he’s doing. The one that ends it all
Hanging up, I wanted to cry
But dammit, this well's gone dry
Not for the money, not for the fame
Not for the power, just no more games
But now I'm safe in the eye of the tornado
I can't replace the lies that let a 1000 days go
No more living trapped inside
In her way, I'll surely die
In the eye of the tornado, blow me away
You'll grow to loathe my name
You'll hate me just the same
You won't need your breath
And soon you'll meet your death
Not from the years, not from the use
Not from the tears, just self abuse
But now I'm safe in the eye of the tornado
I can't replace the lies that let a 1000 days go
No more living trapped inside
In her way I'll surely die
In the eye of the tornado, blow me away
Who's to say, what's for me to say
Who's to say, what's for me to be
Who's to say, what's for me to do
Cause a big nothing it'll be for me
The land of opportunity
The golden chance for me
My future looks so bright
Now I think I've seen the light
Can't say what's on my mind
Can't do what I really feel
In this bed I made for me
Is where I sleep, I really feel
I warn you of the fate
Proven true to late
Your tongue twist perverse
Come drink now of this curse
And now I fill your brain
I spin you round again
My poison fills your head
As I tuck you into bed
You feel my fingertips
You won't forget my lips
You'll feel my cold breath
It's the kiss of death

12/07, 3:09 - 3:29 100% / 3:29 - 3:46 a 75% VELOCIDAD
13/12, pensé que nunca volvería, pero lo hice, saque todo el tema al 100% gracias por esta travesía, megadeth.
Échale Karnal , tu puedes ese solo es brutal y eres un chingon por sacarlo , animo
Daves riffs during this time are the greatest of all time! Man he was on fire!
Cool T-shirt man!
One of the best songs in metal history. So good. Nicely played. inspiring. Loved the string break at the end. Love the Metallica shirt even more. :)
Just had to put that string snap in there eh! Haha, that gives me nightmares too, great video Dude! Thanks for sharing!

This solo is so cool. Thanks so much for sharing it.

You make it look so easy i hate you but love you at the same time lmao
The solo is amazingly perfect
Learning the entire thing. Just reached the solo.
Wish me luck🎸
yesssss ive been looking through your channel recently to find this song tabbed and here it is!! hopefully ill be able to play that stretchy part to speed with my small hands one day !!😂🔥🤘
What a brilliant song and solo. I dont their music at all.
Mr Tabs you smashed that solo!
You did Dave and Marty a solid 🤘🏼
You're just missing the long hair bouncing above the fret board
Im here before 500k subs solid cover bro nice playing this guy deserve more subs🤘🤘🤘
Another perfect lesson as always. Still got the blues/ no more tears next? I'd love to learn them!
@Strat Abuser Indeed. I'd love if he did a lesson on both because no more tears' tabs are always too divergent and he always has some great, no BS tabs. Same with SGTB
I dont listen to this type of music but my goodness that solo is absolutely stunning! Great work as usual Mr Tabs.
Thanks. This tab is really helpful and I have to hand it to you! You really nailed the whole song!
I’ve been waiting for this!! Thanks!!
The Metallica shirt was a nice touch
This is another one of those I'll be observing from the sideline.
Lmao same
I learned the song from ear years ago, pretty close judging from this video, just a few notes wrong here and there BUT ueah that solo, I can't play it lol
Can literally see your sweat in the fretboard jeez! Great work!

he committed the worst crime by wearing a metallica shirt and playing megadeth
Its just humor bro
You always make really good song with great cover, you are really good 🤘🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Those beautifully downstroked and palm muted sections bring tears to my little rhythm guitarists heart. 🎉
I need to learn how to plant my pinky on the guitar like that, amazing playing.
Best Tabs Channel on UA-cam!
Bro, your t-shirt💀
That's where it all started
Is it impossible to like both bands?
YES FINALLY
This is just the most amazing rhythm riff , I love it
One of the hardest solos to play and you nailed it perfectly!
hace una semana que me propuse aprenderla entera y ya estoy casi y justo ahora la subes , sera coincidencia ? ahora la aprendo entera 💪🏼 gracias !!
Te aprendiste el solo?
Demandante 💪
This is a great showcase of a real “Marty style.” He’s putting a lot of juice on those notes, they’re not always on beat, and…. Oohhh the vibrato🤟🤟🤟
That’s the best thing about Marty’s feel. And nobody plays quite like him!
@@Mr.Tabs.Guitar.Lessons That’s what makes his playing so fascinating. I’m not a guy that likes to get down with all the theory, modes, and scales. But I can appreciate what he’s doing. My buddy was explaining the solo to me one time, and at the end when Marty just rips the fretboard in half, my buddy said, “just shred.” I keep thinking about that. “Just shred”
A hell yeah I was just about to learn this one
