- Опубліковано 19 чер 2024
- I played dark souls for the first time in June and it was my first full soulsborne experience. It was a fantastic challenge and I ended up loving it very much. Discovering new areas and bosses made me feel a lot of neat adventurous feelings I hadn't felt a in a long time. This is a part 1 of 2 video.

AMAZING CHEST AHEAD
All I wanna do
Is see you run into
a giant woman (a giant woman!)
All I wanna be
is a guy who gets to see
a giant woman...
Praise the Sun \|T|/
Hahahaha yoop
I'm dying her disappointment in humanity is audible
AMAZING TRAP AHEAD :D
"He's so little.'' i love that everyone says this about Gaping at first lmao.
Followed by the silent "oh ^%&" as the rest of it comes up.
That was the perfect reaction.
For me it was "aww it's a little alligator guy :p" followed by "ew gross" followed by "is that a...a..pu.."
You never forget your first Dark Souls experience.
Specially first Havel expirience
@@user-ss9bz3pp7j I laughed how easily i parried him, time after time, on my 2nd playthrough. On my first one I was too scared to even attempt parrying.
Me and my friend rented this game back when it first came out. We took turns and handed the controller off to each other after each death. We were TERRIBLE. I started getting very mad and after each death I tossed him the controller a little more forcefully. Finally, after one death I threw it at him and it missed his face by an inch and slammed into the wall. We both agreed it was the worst game ever made and sucked. Few months later I bought it and decided to give another try. The rest is history.
Dark souls 3.
Vordt scared the crap out of me.
Abyss watchers were surpricingly easy to beat with a greatsword.
took me an eternity to find the cathedral.
Aldrich was the bane of my existance (i still hate him)
Champion Gundyr was my favorite fight during my first playthrough.
the princes i dominated (lock on and you cant lose track of lorian)
Soul of cinder took an eternity to finally beat.
Mine was Demon's Souls. Special place in my heart as my first Souls experience
"I feel like I can take on the world. I feel like I can do anything.." welcome to the addiction
I've never felt so vicariously proud of someone!
It’s a very strong feeling for sure
We're here with you on this one. My glorious addiction
"Awww, are they dogs? awww"
1 second later
"Go ahead and burn in the fire"
*you have become a very dark soul*
5:02 Her 'welcome to Dark Souls' moment. If you watch her eyes, you can see her die a little inside.
Lol right? This made me smile 😂
20:52 Her: If it constantly looks like I'm in pain it's because I am
Oh the nostalgia
Oh Blighttown.. it gets us all.. every single one of us.
That look on Leigh's face every time she turns up back at Firelink Shrine... that's the essence of Dark Souls right there.
The patience this lady has is next level.
No kidding, she handled this game better than me or anybody else I know.
"We're in the sewers, that's like the lowest you can go"
Me: * laughs in old izalyth *
Me: *laughs in the abyss*
@@deepmusiczone5041 for whatever reason, my brain's spatial understanding of the world tells me that the abyss is about halfway as deep as the lost izalyth. i have never checked, but i am convinced that the floor of the abyss is at most on the same level as the floor of blighttown.

@@deepmusiczone5041 chuckles from Ask Lake
oh, damn, yeah, I always laugh in demon ruins about that because I always forget old izalyth =D
34:00 I love this part jejej "IS THIS A BOSS ROOM? NOO :(" "IS A BONFIRE! IS PRAISE THE SUN!"
The fact she beat Taurus the hard way, and appreciates the game is why I'm subscribing. Also because she had big problems with DMC1. I like honesty.
What is the easy or other way to defrat taurus?
@@superbrajanek4579 you can make him fall from the bridge or climb the stairs and fall in his head.
@@planneroxX interesing...
@@planneroxX I did this by accident and was so disappointed.
"If only I could be so grossly incandescent"
*red wyvern enters*
"Omaiwaaa..."
"If only I could be so grossly incandescent" ... Lit on fire lol. Always love the recaps and looking forward to the Bloodborne one!
My absolute favorite within the whole SoulsborneKiro series, this and your "Journey through" series is quickly becoming my favorite too ! New here but i'm happy that i found your channel randomly, this and your humor just makes these videos thoroughly enjoyable, keep up the great work Leigh !
Have to give you props for playing this blind! Such a grueling but rewarding experience
The twilight town music at blighttown was hilarious 😂
Leigh: NO NO NO!
Havel : why are you running???
Her: Blighttown=Twilighttown
Me: Making the Grinchsmile
Her playtrough is an accurate depiction of Murphy's law goddamn.
"We're in the sewers. That's like, the lowest you can go!"
I love it. I'm dying and I love it.
Laurentius : *Please you've got to help me*
LeighXP: *Nop, nop, nop, nop*
I can't believe you killed both Gargoyles with their own tail. You monster.
Amazing.
7:08 Literally me on my first run.
Glad to see someone else shares my love for the halberd.
"Is this a boss? I just started!"
Fromsoft in a nutshell 😂
Your reactions are so genuine and I like that you're not just going through the motions of progressing through the game. You take your time to appreciate the levels and atmosphere. Great video :)
I love your expressions of relief when you found a shortcut back to firelink. One of the most satisfying parts of the game on a 1st playthrough
First time I've watched someone who clearly hasn't been reading walkthroughs/tips etc, the fact that she didn't learn from the Asylum Demon to just keep R1 dropping onto the Taurus Demon shows that, also she didn't know where the Sens Fortress bonfire was! I loved her expression when she realised she was back at Firelink; the best thing about DS is how deeply you learn the map, I could walk through the entire game in my head without missing a turn!
"Strong... weak? That is not how you describe somebody" lmfao I want her to see the "waste of skin" class of bloodborne
I love her reactions to the shortcuts to firelink shrine. That is one of the best level design ever
Ahhhhh nothing like a refreshing watch of someone else's suffering with a good side of the euphoria of victory.
i love this because it's basically a 1:1 of my first playthrough it feels like going back in time and watching myself play
I have just realised after years of playing this masterpiece, that the sound the game makes when you press Start on the main menu, it is the sound of unsheathing the sword
*Whoa*
Saw the first 3 minutes of this video randomly recommended to me right before I went to bed last night. Immediately subbed so I could come back today to finish it. Love the channel and the vibes.
The Battle with Ornstein and Smoug is one of the fight that I will never forget finally finishing and watching you go through it brought back so many memories of that first playthrough.
Bar none of the best Dark Souls playthrough I'm glad I watched live!
13:35 little did that man know of the NPC massacre to come
(thank for this. im sad i missed your dark souls playthrough)
I really really like your content. You have an awesome personality.
Yours is one of the most wholesome playthroughs I've seen for Dark Souls. Oh, the joy of taking on Dark Souls for the first time... ❤️
I really like your playtroughs! makes me laugh a lot, great work!
I love the way this was edited together and some truly great fights
The Twilight Town music playing over Blight Town got me good! Well played
I love the way you were surprised when you found your first major shortcut back to Firelink. Definitely resonated with that feeling. The moment its music hits is just different after everything one can go through before finding their way back there for the first time.
I'm impressed by your tenacity on O&S
I always say to the randoms i help if you can beat them, you can beat the game.
Good job on your play through! Can’t wait for next episode.
There's a bonfire in Sen's Fortress!?!?!? So many hours spent playing this game, and I had no idea. (Great, authentic playthrough by the way.)
Just wanna say, I've watched a lot of Dark Souls run-throughs, and I enjoy watching yours the most. Idk why but your reactions and comments and faces are just incredibly engaging hahah I found myself laughing and smiling almost the whole way through. Def subbing
The thing I like the most about these games it to see the sheer amount of confidence people build up. You are literally so different at the beginning of the journey and the end. Gg.
Instant sub. I've enjoyed every single moment of this playthrough. Love that you love the game and, because of that, it was so awesome to watch you experience it for the first time.
I just finished watching all your watching Devil May Cry playthrough videos! You are instantly my new favorite UA-camr! You are simply awesome, funny and cheeky, keep up the awesome content😁😊
I love how she keeps getting chased into boss arenas LOL
Watched the entire video without even realizing it was 39 minutes. The first playthrough is always special. Great video, enjoyed it a lot!
Love how every time you beat a boss you look like you're about to pass out from relief.
👏👏👏 really enjoyed this one.. best bit of content I've seen in a while
This gives me butterflies. I'm 21 now, Dark Souls came out in 2011 and I played it a year later when I was 12. Almost 10 years later, over 400 hours in each game 1-3, and I'm still starting new play throughs almost every month to try new builds! It truly makes me happy to see someone enjoying this universe for their first time, getting spooked and excited through all the same twists and turns as I did so long ago. I have yet to play Bloodborne or the Demon's Souls remake (damn you sony exclusives!!! T_T) but I plan to soon and I'm playing through Sekiro right now because I love and will always love anything Hidetaka Miyazaki makes. SORRY FOR THE RAMBLE OF A COMMENT BUT I RANDOMLY STUMBLED UPON THIS VID AND YOUR CHANNEL AND NOW I'M EXCITED TO WATCH MORE!!!
"If only I could be so grossly incandescent"
Dragon: Say no more
Oh my gods, those unexpected audio edits 33 mins in got me _so_ good.
i love your content!!! also. your reaction to every final fantasy, is me.. eapecially the crying part 😭😭😭😭 zaaaack
Just found this channel. The video was a joy to watch and you’re reactions are really entertaining.
Her little whimpers and sounds are so cute.
Also all her reactions are priceless and she is great
Oh. My. GOD. Your reactions are some of the funniest I've ever seen. I cannot WAIT to see how you respond to Bloodborne.
13:09 he isn't T-posing, he just want a hug
this is the first time I ever watch through a whole platythrough video whithout even fastforwarding the video. I think I'll binge ur other DS videos if available
Really well edited video with a surprising amount of content where other creators would fill this with uncut gameplay
i think this might be the first Dark Souls video ive ever seen where the person didnt immediately get bodied in the Graveyard for an hour
Oh. My god. I love the Twilight Town theme in the backdrop of Blighttown xD You brilliant woman.
i enjoyed this so much, your editing style is like flawless. you cut all the fat and it’s just pure enjoyment! you rule dude, also did really well with the game honestly :))) i’d love to see you play the other souls games!
The face you make with every "welcome to dark souls" moment is just 🤣.
following!
That was really fun to watch, thanks!
Omg this is the best reaction to this game I have seen xD beautiful
I admire your persistence. You're tougher than most.
her face of just defeat and disbelieve was so priceless, that's why i love watching this, brings me back to my first time xD
I legitimately enjoyed this. Please play more haha
mann anor londo is sooo pretty!! thanks for the video!
Such a dark souls moment as you enjoy Solaire's company for a mere second before getting toasted by a dragon.
5:08 The face of someone contemplating their life choices.
Well, that's dark souls. It never builds you up to put you down it is hold your face in the dirt grind, especially if your new and dont know secrets. Very rewarding once you finally beat what's been stopping you.
I love this, 100% how it felt going through it the first time
I like how your just looking at the scenery saying how beautif-- hit with arrow
congrats on beating O&S, I went with a sorcery build my first time and suffered😭 It is definitely the breaking point for any first playthrough.
This was my first Souls game aside from Kingsfield 4 so it was really cool seeing a glimpse into my past self with your reactions. It's crazy to think I went from this to where I am now. I'll be checking to see if you have more from the series and I'll sub since you're a smaller channel and very chill to watch. Nice headphones btw; I love mine!
4:27 Havel's got some "I'LL FLATTEN YOUR BALLS, COME BACK HERE!!!" energy
Your editing is so hilarious, it had me dying.
This has been suggested to me for weeks. I'm not regretting clicking on it at all.
I gotta say it is really impressive to see her stay so calm and collected and not raging when fighting bosses over and over. I am not kidding.
I had a different mindset when i first played the game ... not too proud of that.
A friend of mine once said the background music for every boss in this game sounds like the final boss of any other game.
38:00 That's the look of determination.
The kingdom hearts music moment got me cracking
It's nice to know other people had the same experience of discovery, and thrill of victory as I did when playing this. I died about the same number of times to each boss and still die a lot when replaying each game. You said you enjoyed the adventure; Hollow Knight may scratch the same itch for you.
Hollow knight is fantastic.
Eating my popcorn while enjoying this poor soul been branded by the dark sign.
I can't wait to see you playing ds3!
The Moonlight Butterfly looks awesome =)
@6:37 "If only I could be so grossly incandescent."
Immediately set on fire.
You are awesome!! Stay somewhat distant from the comments and know that you have a growing fanbase. RESPECT, GIRL!!!
Yay Leigh uploads!!!
You had a nice journey😍😍😍
i enjoyed your progression at Iron Golem. dying to bullshit caused this certain smile like, ok, yeah, ok. and then the game face was on, and you won. and the wanting to throw up after part gets easier over time, you're actually building up something real in your body by facing challenges and not giving up like this. it's pretty neat. congrats
This has been wonderful
I was stuck on the asylum demon and put down souls for years because I didn't realize that open door was there
Does it have the same vibes as Twilight Town? *Grotesque ogre smashes her and sends her flying to a unknown endless hole of darkness*
Love videos like that xD
You played this
You are a Legend
