Try the souls, body, since I did Sekiro they are in my top 5 of the best game sagas,a little advice: accept dying and starting over countless times, it's part of the gameplay of these games, You should never get angry or give up.
I have people crushing yous really bothers me, whenever I would try to play with a new file or someone who hasn't played very much, undead Burg became the worst area ever. Always some dude with dark bead or chaos flame explosion. @@Laoruperteen18

hes relatively new, yes, but hes beaten elden ring already, so its not as glamorous as it seems. first try though! and some solid parries, thats certainly something though.
@@zachriley2341 turn around and go just past the well with the corpse draped over it near the bonfire, towards the cliff. Theres a staircase leading to a bridge. Those enemies are much easier :)
@Pentagram619 i did end up doing that yesterday I played around 7 or 8 hours, made it to level 22 by killing the same enemies over and over, made it past the dragon just past that metal pig and then called it quits bro it seems like it could be fun but getting your ass kicked non stop idk it's a skill issue I understand that lol but I just don't see a reason to keep going lol

The gods and heroes of old have died, abandoned you, or gone insane, and you find yourself entangled in a prophecy to either save or doom what remains. Best of luck DeeBee. Prepare to die... EDIT: Some quick tips. (Because I forgot...) -Buy the Repair Kit and the Bottomless Box when you can, being able to repair and sort your inventory on the fly can make or break this game sometimes. -Bows are better than crossbows if you want a ranged weapon, mainly because only bows scale and have an aiming system. -If you decide to try magic, it works a bit more like DnD in that you have set spell slots rather than a mana bar, and each spell only has a limited number of shots. Your Attunement stat also affects your number of slots. -Flick forward and light attack together to do a kick. Depending on your weapon it can help against enemy shields.
The fact it's vague and shrouded in nebulous stuff is paradoxically what made this legendary: you can learn more about the lore by reading items and equipment descriptions
These games really shine once you understand the story behind every enemy you fight and every place you visit. Would really recommend you to look up some lore videos once you're done with Dark Souls
I just recently started my first souls game, Bloodborne........man its been hell but its been fun. Dying to bosses doesn't piss me off, its when I lose a bunch of echoes and I have to run all the way back to where I died, fighting through the enemies or trying to run away, hoping that I don't get killed before then which makes me lose the echoes I just lost forever. That gives me more stress than any souls boss ever.

My first game was Elden Ring, and then I played Bloodborne and beat that in a week, and I just beat this last week. And the I play DS 3 and beat that in three days just recently. Man I love these games so much.
Dude has done more parries in the first twenty minutes of the game than I've done in my first ten full playthroughs. Also, hopefully soon he'll stop running full speed around corners and at enemies. "OH GOD! OH GOD!" Sweet zombie jesus...
I dunno, this dude's got the spirit of a champion. ONE SHOT the black night. I died like 10 time by the time I got there and I beat Demon's Souls first.
Great first playthrough. You sussed it out really well, even parrying and backstabs. The lightning resin you picked up is a consumable to buff your weapon, it makes the Taurus Demon a lot easier. Have fun with the series, Elden Ring is awesome btw. Good luck.

If you want to know a lot about the lore and backstory, read the description of each item you pick up, you can do so by hovering over it in your inventory and pressing X or Square, depending on what your playing it on. It makes the experience even better when you get an idea of the backstory.

You'll get irritated quite a few times and say "Last fight and I'll never play this again" just to find yourself playing for another 3 hours before you'll take a break. Btw. you're doing great for your first playthrough

when you asked why were they more agressive, i realized how the first time you go pretty cautiosly, but then as you're going to recover your souls, you get greedy
When I play Dark Souls, one of my main weapons is a longbow because a good long range attack can take care of so many problems before they're problems.
Be sure to read item descriptions (with triangle in the menu I think ?), not only can they inform you of what keys and other things are for, they will give you more and more lore about the story as the game goes :) Also, speaking of the menus, they can be kinda overwhelming at first but you can press select to inform you about what stuff is, like the different stats on the level up screen
Tips: Conserve your humanity as much as possible, you can use them to kindle bonfires which gives you more estus sips and also some NPC quests will require you to be human so you can summon them to fight certain bosses in order for you to progress them. Good luck!
edit: you only get more estus sips at bonfires you kindle, eg if you kindle the undead burg bonfire, use all 10, and find the next bonfire, that bonfire will only replenish 5 until you kindle it as well. Try to be conservative in your uses and persistent against hardship.

You've played other souls games before so you should be 100% fine playing Dark Souls 1, it's one of the easier games in the series. After this you should play 2 and 3.
