Im a black woman that grew up on the westside of Chicago. You need to embrace being mixed and stop trying so hard to identitfy with us black children who actually grew up in these areas that you believe you know so much about. I grew up with a privelege in the hood. My black family believed in God, dignity, and respect. Thats the only difference betweeen me and others from my hood who didn't make a better life for themselves. Has nothing to do with white people. It's sad how so many mixed children like yourself don't want to embrace the privilege you actually have and try so hard to identitfy with a dark skin black woman like myself from the hood. Whats it like being you? Stop trying to tell me what it's like being me. Mixed children like this are a nightmare and a good example of when mixing goes wrong. I have a mixed child and I pray she embraces her upbringing and not try to identitfy with mines because her childhood is NOTHING like mines. I thank God for that. I had to go through things that she's never experienced. Thats a good thing and I praise God for breaking the curse. She has a chance to be an even better woman than I was simply because I made better choices to give her a better life. Nothing to do with skin color. Just because you're mixed doesn't mean you understand what it's like to be me. Even if you're black doesn't mean you know what its like to be me. Every black person doesn't have the same experience just because we black. It depends on family, environment, and opportunites presented to you by people who care about you. Not opportunities given to you by the white man. Y'all act like we can't do anything unless the white man helps. I'm a self-made almost millionaire. My husband and I were broke as hell and now work for ourselves. We both came from single mothers and had to go through a lot in life to grow up. You don't make it in life when you constantly blame others for being a loser. You must take responsibility for yourself. People like you hold people back with this type of message, but you think you're helping. How many black people hear messages like this and improve their life? almost none.

They are followers and most of them have nothing in common with the black culture they want to relate to so badly. My daughter is mixed and I will never teach her to be embarrassed from her white side. Her father deserves all the respect. My daughter will never know what it was like growing up as me. She is her own person with her own experiences. I grew up in Chicago and I have never been oppressed because my family didn't raise me to think like a loser. These same blacks are also saying black folks are born thugs and we should not be demand change to policing or other social programs. These blacks also argue that the blacks are working to make sure Jim crow returns thru lies and name calling
Exactly and she is not fully black so she don't have the REAL BLACK EXPERIENCE Therefore she have no business being the spokesperson for black ppl she needs to stay in her mixed lane and work on her identity issues😂
