Hi, some things about this boys. *Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. Kpop is just a label to say that everything that comes out of Korea is that (false) bts is not considered kpop because of its great repertoire of genres and that it does not follow the same line of the kpop industry. 1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers 2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc 3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Murray. 4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble. 5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song. **Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals

As a teenage girl and Army I kinda feel really disrespected from watching this reaction. The vibe was totally off with the guy in the red, BTS Army is not a fandom where there’s only one gender, one type of generation it really irks me to hear people say “oh it’s just a hole bunch of teenage girls going crazy over 7 Korean guys” BTS is not the typical boy band you usually see neither is the fandom, BTS fandom ages are 10 (or lower) all the way up to 70+, not just teenagers and and we also have two genders in our fandom female and male and different races and cultures. We don’t only love BTS for their talent and visuals we love them because of their message and inspiration and love, it makes us feel like we are apart of something and they make us feel stronger and teach us how to love our selves. Army isn’t a weak fandom we are the most powerful fandom on the earth and we will do anything to protect our idols but that doesn’t mean we’re crazy, BTS them selves are a world sensation the biggest Kpop group/boy band on the planet, BTS has also broken many records. Plus Dynamite was MJ inspired and disco themed, that was their first only English album. Ok, the guy in black was fine, not too talkative but overall pretty nice, everyone else got on my nerves though. The guy in red rolled his eyes and was extremely rude, and the girls didn't pay any attention and just talked. They ARE the biggest group in the world, (not just k-pop related), their fans AREN'T just teenage girls, and you could've at least had an open mind to it all. My main problem is with the guy in red though, he was just so disrespectful and annoying!

Considering the issue, I just wanted to put out again that BTS has a vast discography so to know and understand their music, you have to listen to a lot to find your cup of tea which is how they resonate with such a wide audience of diverse race, age, gender, etc.. If the gentleman in red is into house music, that is a vast category as well which disco is a part of so I don't know what kind of house music he is into but maybe he might like Singularity or Stigma unless he is totally not interested and prefers to sit in his own well. That is fine too whatever makes him happy. BTS and ARMY is all about loving oneself and spreading positivity. On a different note, the gentleman in the dark shirt is correct which is everyone is influenced by someone including MJ. I am pointing this out because I noticed some people like to think or say that BTS is copying MJ when actually they're recognizing and showing tribute to MJ and the disco era which most of the living generations can relate to. BTS isn’t just currently the biggest kpop group right now , their the biggest GROUP AND BOYBAND in the world right now out beating current mainstream American artists and groups . Ironically some bts fan don’t like them being labeled as a “boyband” because usually comes with negative comments and people thinking they don’t write their own music but the reality is BTS actually write their own music and produce. They have had members who produce music for other artists in Korea as well. Also what’s funny some fans don’t like to box bts as “kpop group “ because of how much accomplishments and impact they made not just for themselves but for kpop community , American music industry and Asian Artists in general .
Their name connects to their music. Bts is respected because they tackle a lot of issues and societal problems that occur within Korea that also RELATES to anyone in the world. Korea is known for mental health and suicide issues. It’s considered to be TABOO to bring up sensitive topics like this. You have to understand the country is very strict and conservative. BTS music tackles topics such as mental health, suicide, depression, addiction, parent abuse , anxiety, generation gap and differences between the old generation and new young generation, corrupt , academic system And teaching people about self love and self respect , self care . Their music connects to all ages/ gender : men , women , boy, girls . Which is why their fanbase is huge and VERY DIVERSE. So please don’t think their fanbase is just teenage girls .
Overall , BTS is popular and highly respected because they work hard to become more then just a pop group , but a positive inspiration . They show music has the power to transcend and translate messages regardless of AGE, gender, race or religion .

*Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. Kpop is just a label to say that everything that comes out of Korea is that (false) bts is not considered kpop because of its great repertoire of genres and that it does not follow the same line of the kpop industry.
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Murray.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.
5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song.
**Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals

As a teenage girl and Army I kinda feel really disrespected from watching this reaction. The vibe was totally off with the guy in the red, BTS Army is not a fandom where there’s only one gender, one type of generation it really irks me to hear people say “oh it’s just a hole bunch of teenage girls going crazy over 7 Korean guys” BTS is not the typical boy band you usually see neither is the fandom, BTS fandom ages are 10 (or lower) all the way up to 70+, not just teenagers and and we also have two genders in our fandom female and male and different races and cultures. We don’t only love BTS for their talent and visuals we love them because of their message and inspiration and love, it makes us feel like we are apart of something and they make us feel stronger and teach us how to love our selves. Army isn’t a weak fandom we are the most powerful fandom on the earth and we will do anything to protect our idols but that doesn’t mean we’re crazy, BTS them selves are a world sensation the biggest Kpop group/boy band on the planet, BTS has also broken many records. Plus Dynamite was MJ inspired and disco themed, that was their first only English album. If BTS fans are only teenagers, we wouldn’t be able to match the $1 mil donation from BTS and BigHit within 24 hrs for BLM. Also, the clothes that some of them wear always sell out even though they are very expensive. Yes, most of us are working and 21% is 40+ so BTS is not your typical boy band. They are artists who everyone should be inspired no matter what your age is. They cover many genres and always improve themselves in every comeback. Btw, it’s really not a bad thing that teenagers support who they love. You don’t have to be in that era to know about disco. V even listens to the classic old songs. Also, every country knows about MJ. It’s perfectly fine if it’s not your type of music, but please don’t stereotype. This song is made for fans and others who are going through this pandemic. Ok, the guy in black was fine, not too talkative but overall pretty nice, everyone else got on my nerves though. The guy in red rolled his eyes and was extremely rude, and the girls didn't pay any attention and just talked. They ARE the biggest group in the world, (not just k-pop related), their fans AREN'T just teenage girls, and you could've at least had an open mind to it all. First, thank you for checking out our boys again. Considering the issue, I just wanted to put out again that BTS has a vast discography so to know and understand their music, you have to listen to a lot to find your cup of tea which is how they resonate with such a wide audience of diverse race, age, gender, etc.. If the gentleman in red is into house music, that is a vast category as well which disco is a part of so I don't know what kind of house music he is into but maybe he might like Singularity or Stigma unless he is totally not interested and prefers to sit in his own well. That is fine too whatever makes him happy. BTS and ARMY is all about loving oneself and spreading positivity.
On a different note, the gentleman in the dark shirt is correct which is everyone is influenced by someone including MJ. I am pointing this out because I noticed some people like to think or say that BTS is copying MJ when actually they're recognizing and showing tribute to MJ and the disco era which most of the living generations can relate to. As I mentioned before, I believe this song was meant to minimize the generation gaps and reach out to all ages.
