I’ve never had a strong belief in fate, but this group being formed is the strongest proof that fate exists. V going to an audition justice support his friend, Jin stepping off the bus and being approached because he was so incredibly handsome, JK being such a baby when he first started, J-Hope not leaving, even though he got such hatred. They all have stories about their beginnings and these are just a few of indicators of this groups road to our hearts.
I will never forget that night in Wembley. They were about to sing Microkosmos and suddenly the instrumentation of Young Forever came out, then being the great artist they are, fast switched to the song and before the first sentence ended, they realized ARMY was on the lead, them faces!!! I will never forget those expressions. Can you imagine 80, 000 people that don't speak your language, suddenly starting to sing in your language . That song is entirely in korean, just one sentence is in English Fun fact: that night they recorded us singing Young forever and is the begining of a song dedicated to ARMY in them last Album "Proof", called: "For Youth". So I always tell my friends I featured in a BTS song 😂

@@ablindinglightthatnolonger8379i think it’s because it’s a western award company and there are other artists that have been around longer. personally, i agree that they deserve higher. but that’s still a very big accomplishment for a south korean boy band :)
About JK being 15 when he joined...He was actually 13 (going on 14) when he joined as a trainee (in 2011). In South Korea they used to count age in a different way than here. Once you're born, you're one year old (they count the period in the womb too) and on the first of January (no matter when's your birthday) you add one year. That's why you have to deduct 1-2 years most of the time when they mention their ages. The aging count system has changed recently, but they often still use the old method of counting...
Just to explain- they don't count the period in the womb, they count the years you lived in. Born in 2001? While still 2001 you are 1 y old, you lived in that year. On 1st of January 2002 you are 2 y old, you lived in 2 years, 2001 and 2002. That is why with this way of counting they basically consider someone born on 1st of january 2001 and someone born on 31st december 2001 as being the same age -because they are born in the same year. I hope it made sense, I tried to explain as best as I can.
Yes, and they were using the old method when this documentary was made (and the clips were older). I think JK just figured out his real age last summer!
@@SusieQ1955 They mentioned many times their age as "korean age/ international age". I'm pretty sure he knew what his real/international age was, just my oppinion. But also, even tho they officialy changed how they count their age, I heard everyone still uses the "korean age", cause it's a cultural/social thing. It probably only changes official documents and stuff, but will get a long time for people to get used to it.
Immediate like for the introduction! Classy...'The suit' is Kendo, he trained for 8 years and JImin's childhood dream was to be the best swordsman in the world. Apart from that, he trained Teakwondo (blackbelt), Hapikido, and some other variations of martial arts.

Jim , although he joined because of his looks , he actually worked really hard . He sings, dances and is very important to the group. His songs have always deep meanings , even Super Tuna who celebrates his joy in practicing fishing. I totally respect him and all the members. He was the youngest in his family and at BTS group he was the oldest with some responsibilities due to his age although he was only 20. 💜🇧🇷
Yes, Jin was originally scouted for his good looks but you have to remember this. Initially, BigHit had about 30 recruits and they all had to go through rounds of elimination until they narrowed it down to 7. Guess what! Jin passed all of those highly competitive elimination rounds, not because of looks but because he worked hard to develop the skills required to debut in the group. And look at him now!
The Mega hit OST V wrote were for his BFF’s Dramas. Since 2016 he has a friend circle called Woogas who love and support him. It was founded around Park Seo Joon who helped him learn to act in his only Drama so far Hwrang. All of the Woogas are musically talented except Wooshik 😂😂.
You almost gave RM a heart attack eileen hahaha... he and Yoongi thought the crew had made a mistake and queued the wrong track !! ... Thankyou... for being a part of surprising them like that... it made an historic event even more legendary !! 💜
“THE RISE OF BANGTAN EPISODE 1-20 “ you guys should watch this episodes to know more about BTS to know their story very well and understand them very well
I've known BTS since the very first day of their debut, you know, I was only 12 then, now I'm 23, and I'm so grateful to these guys because they helped me through the most difficult times of my life. they helped me when I didn't see any way out, then it seemed to me that no one understood me, but... They understood me. And now it's so nice to see them on top of this world. It is pleasant to realize that they have passed all this hard way next to me, and despite my rather young age, I have passed all my hard way with them and thanks to them. They really help people on our vast planet with their songs. thank you very much for this video, you reminded me of my past, but thanks to BTS, I remember it with a happy smile on my face, just because they were there and taught me never to give up. thank you💜
I've been an army for 10 years, and if I don't watch BTS, I'm watching those who love them or who make reactions about them. That's how much I love them, and they deserve this.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
In fact, JK debuted when he was fifteen, but he was recruted when he was thirteen. Every one of them has his own story of giving up his adolescence to become a complete artist. Jin, i.e., was his family's maknae (youngest) but took the burden of being the oldest member of BTS and nailed it! Yoongi and Namjoon were massacred by their former underground fellows for becoming idols, and so on. For none of them was an easy path. That's why they are a role model of resilience for many people.
@@JackInTheBox0294 wrong, YOU shouldn't argue about that, it was too rude. Remember, we, the silver Armys, are a lot here! You don't need to "defend" them from us. We love all of them. Let me explain you one thing. My son is 43, and I still call him my baby. It's about love, ok? Peace!
There’s special expression that BTS comes into your life when you need them most That’s so true, they’re all loving and protective and spreading happiness and only positive vibes. I love them so much, I’m so happy to have them in my life, they are really worth appreciating their efforts💜
The Bangtan 7 is destined to be together. It's destiny. All 7 of them are unique and talented in their own way that's why I love all of them, my OT7. I believe they started their training days from 2010-2011 & debut 2013. They have a strong bond like family. I suggest that you watch their early MV and songs from 2013. Even though their songs are in Koreans, thru MV's they express what the song is about & its meaning. I purple you my OT7 💜. Thank you for your genuine reactions in BTS.
BTS are a force for good our world has been blessed with. It might sound extreme or an exaggeration, but in this world of cynicism, senseless wars and evil dictators (and dictator wannabes), they brought light, compassion, love, self-love, and a positive energy that made an entire movement of young and old, all races, all creeds, all cultures, all countries become ONE as ARMY.🥹 Where have we ever seen that before? NEVER BTS may just be a group of seven young men, but… WHAT A GROUP OF SEVEN YOUNG MEN!!!! 🥹🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 APOBANGPO 4-LIFE!!!!!🥳💜🥰
Actually jhope was singed by bh before RM - but that was before BTS was a project. He still lived in his hometown and BH was paying for his continued dance training. RM was signed early/mid 2010 and trained with a completely different batch of trainees (they even have songs you can still find like We Are Bulletproof pt. 1 and went by a bit of a different acronym). Suga was signed Oct 2010 and then jhope was called up from his home town and joined them in the dorms Dec 2010.
@@BrilliantHuman I only just learned about the early group yesterday. I think they were all rappers and called BPB (Bulletproof Boys) and they performed We Are Bulletproof Pt1 which was all rap. BTS performed We Are Bulletproof Pt2 which you can clearly hear evolved from the earlier song

He made it to express everything he feels about us. I love him so much. It means i will trust and love you for a long time" So we show our affection to each other by saying "i purple you" or "보라해" (Borahae)" whose words at the UN and WH were shared by reputed org. and people, whose quotes are powerful and deep,.. That song in the studio with jhope is called " ddaeng ".. Super fun song.u may check it Out.. 😁 And also about jhope leaving the group,,actually in the past bts had been on the verge of disbandment many times following hates, criticism.,struggles..at the begining stages..when already released few of their hip hop songs.. They werent recieved so well.. Also, with promotion issue with financial difficulties..it was all part of their journey to success...Rm once shared how he wanted to give up when things werent going so well.. It were same for the members too....But,spring came, igniting a light of hope, after they switched being an idol group with soft music and images, they started gaining recognition from 2015..by Wining small award shows.and gained public attention..finally... What made them prominent is their honesty in lyrics, and the way they approached this journey..along the way,,they coulnt paid money for promotion or get half the facilities that other groups from big company get,, still eventually got where they are now with just being honest,hardwroking.. Im glad they were seen by the global people..what their own country was unable to see..
@@mushfiqahasan2263 I do believe that the Big three knew how good an eye BANG PD had and how good the boys were. That is why they kept BTS as an outsider. ARMY provided them with a way to grow and they worked hard for it.

RM joined in 2010 and they debuted in June 2013. Suga, Jin and j-Hope joined pretty soon after. They were in 3 years of training, and actually there were about 30 guys training during this time. RM seemed to have a large say in who became a member, as well as Bang PD and his group. Jimin came in six months before debut, and almost didn't get to join because there was so much to catch up on. (Age was calculated really differently in South Korea. At the time, a baby was counted as 1 when born, I guess reflecting time in the womb, and then everyone turns another year older at New Year's every year. So V, who was born Dec.30, 1995, was 2 in January 1996, but we would have said he was 2 or 3 days old.). The ages given in this video are based on that system, so JK was probably 13 when he joined the training program. They have said he hadn't even gone through puberty. South Korea has officially changed the way they calculate age to the Western system in the last couple of years, but the ages given here were based on the older system.
Actually jhope was the 1st member singed to Bighit, even before RM and the BTS project. He was still living at home and BH paid for his continued dance training. RM was signed early/mid 2010 when they were still using a different acronym for BTS and even released some songs, like We Are Bulletproof pt.1 with a different batch of trainees. Suga was signed Oct 2010 and jhope was called up to live in the dorms Dec 2010. Jin and JK were signed spring of 2011, Tae Fall of 2011 and then Jimin late winter/early spring of 2012.
FYI Jimin is the only artist who has 3 National awards in SK history. The King of Kpop, BTS Frontman, DANCE KING, Recruiting Fairy, GLOBAL IT BOY, ROOKIE’s BIBLE, IDOL OF IDOLS, The Master of Opening are just some of his titles gained due to his hardwork since debut. BTS is a phenomenon, no one will be the next BTS. BTS PAVED THE WAY.
@@cusegirl5 facts is on WIKIPEDIA The Cultural Conservation Society awarded Jimin a plaque of appreciation in 2019, for performing buchaechum, a traditional Korean fan dance, during the 2018 Melon Music Awards and helping spread the dance outside of Korea.[85] In October 2021, he became the first idol to spend 34 consecutive months atop the brand reputation ranking for individual boy group idols[86] and the only one to top the overall ranking for three consecutive years. Jimin is often cited as a role model by various idols in the K-pop industry, many of whom try to emulate his style of dance, mannerisms, and stage presence; media outlets have called him the "Idol of Idols", "Idol's Bible", and "Rookies' Bible". Artists who have cited him as an influence include Arthur of Kingdom, Bic of MCND, Kim Si-hun of BDC, Woochul of Newkidd, Hyunjin of Stray Kids, Wooyoung of Ateez, Lim Se-jun of Victon, Huening Kai and Beomgyu of Tomorrow X Together, and Ni-ki and Jay of Enhypen.[87][88] British internet personality Oli London underwent 15 cosmetic surgeries by 2020 to resemble Jimin.[89] Jimin has also been acknowledged beyond the K-pop industry. Also….in various magazines…i cant put it all here. Which cave have you been? IZE magazine wrote a lengthy feature article highlighting Jimin as an "Idol of Idols." "Perhaps that fierce life pattern created today's Jimin. He stood out as irreplaceable in BTS. Isn't the beginning of "Blood, Sweat & Tears," the turning point of BTS career, Jimin's voice?"

Its crazy that jimin had only trained for 1 year in comparison to the three years that the rest of the members did, and that was more than ennough to debut with the group. Jimin is natural talented, like it is in his DNA.
Hey guys 2015 army here loving your bts journey. From 2010 to 2012, the company had people audition for the group. These guys have helped shaped so much of our lives that we can't describe them in one word. Even tho my peers told you some facts, here's more. Jin can play guitar, a little bit of piano, sports and has a black belt in taekwondo Suga can also cook like jin, played piano since he was little, did bboying(breakdancing)before his accident Jhope got his stage name from one of his inspirations (jcole), jhope's dance name as a kid was Smile Hoya and is imo the 4th best cook RM used to win awards for writing poems in school, in the top 1.3 %, started to get into rapping at 10/11, and most incredible leader of all kpop Jimin has an iq of 128, class president in his school, top dancer of his class, he almost didn't make it in bts b/c of each audition evaluation 8 times, he wanted to be a police man if he wasn't into singing at all. V loves plating whenever the members are done cooking, loves video games, a few sports and painting. Jungkook as we know is an all rounder, but has a fear microwaves, loved art in elementary school, loves photography. Well these are facts that came to mind, you guys soon💜
“Why isn’t Jimin talked about as best dancer?” He is. His dancing is noticed and raved about all over the world by experts in the industry. He’s the most versatile dancer because he dances virtually every genre of dance there is with great skill; since he also integrates his martial arts into his dancing, he is known as having his OWN genre of dance - ‘Jimin genre’. He’s just incredible and it’s why he’s main dancer in the group.
Yeahhh .... but that's ok .... I know he is .... and Jimin himself is always humble about it. Everybody have their eyes or mind of their preference .... as for me it's JIMIN.❤❤❤❤
If you want a more in depth video of them and their story, watch the videos from Rice Squad. That will answer alot of your questions. This video introduces you to the members, but the one from Rice Squad will give you back stories on how each were member was picked and how they become a group. Also, you will learn how they debuted to their success.
I hope I'm remember this correctly: PD Bang was giving an interview, and he said he didn't want to keep Jimin, or he thought Jimin wasn't a good fit. But someone on the staff kept telling him that they needed Jimin. Bang said he was wrong and is glad he listened to the staff member.
Theres no BTS without Jimin. He only had 6 months training the least in idol history. He has given the MAIN DANCER, LEAD SINGER official position which shows how a complete idol he is. Now he is the biggest out there, our KING OF KPOP.
Love to see your reaction 💜 Just a suggestion don't look at hateful comment about any single member of bts ,they are pretending to be solo fan and give hate to other 6 members they are only haters and trying to manipulate but we army already got to know and that's why want to tell you guys as well....go through army's comment only because bts is all about Ot7 even when they are doing solo. Bts always says to love all 7 and that's what we army's do💜 Love your reaction and will be with you guys in this journey of bts😊
V is the first and only BTS member to debut as an actor with his character "hansung" from the kdrama hwarang and won as the "best idol actor" in soompi awards , He was considered one of the most in-demand Korean actors, his appearance fee was 500M won per episode, and even directors were willing to increase it. kim Taehyung V made his acting debut as Hansung in the KBS drama, “Hwarang.” Director Yoon Sungsik was looking for someone “pure and bright” to fill the role.
Jin will not be in a kdrama. He will be on Netflix, but it is a varity show. Also, the span of them getting into the group- RM I think auditioned in 2010, Jimin was the last in 2012, so about 2 years until the group was complete. Jimin had the shortest training time, 9 months. You want jazz, there's a live performance named "Le Jazz de V", look it up. When Jungkook said he was 15, that was his korean age. Recently they changed this, but for the longest time, koreans counted age differently. They count the years you lived in, not how many years you lived. So if you are born in december 2020, you already lived in 2020 so for the rest of that year you are 1, on 1st of January 2021 you are 2 y old (you lived in 2020 and 2021). Basically depending on your birthday month, they add one or two years to the international age (the age we all use in general, how many years we have lived)
Maybe some army knows better than me, correct me if i'm wrong : Fun fact about rm, he took TOEFL test every year just because he felt bored.. Fun fact about Suga, once his parents threw away all his notes (collection of songs) but he said it's fine because he kept it safe and sound all in his head Fun fact about J-Hope, he kept dancing for 3hours after the audition ended, it made bang shi Hyuk PD impressed so much.. Fun fact about jin, he is always goofing around but a bit intimidating when he is being serious that the members and the staffs immediately respect him Fun fact about Jimin, he has "never mind" tattoo on his right chest because he loves Suga's song with the same title.. Fun fact about v, he can write draw play tennis etc with both hands (ambidextrous).. Fun fact about JK, he joined BTS because of rm and he stayed in BTS because of jin (he almost left because he missed his parents, but jin sometimes brought him to have meals at jin's house)
I don't think I've ever heard Jimin say that the nevermind tattoo is in reference to Suga's song. He had the fake one done in 2014 while the song came out in 2015 (could have, of course, been a promotional clue). So unless there is a clip or an article with Jimin saying this, I wouldn't state it as a fact, but only as an army theory.
If I have it wrong, I hope Army will correct me but from what I pieced together from various documentaries/interviews JHope had wanted to leave the group early on because during their early years JHope was targeted by antis/haters who tried to destroy BTS. Those antis would employ psychological terrorism to undermine the members' confidence and the crap they said about JHope was beyond awful. I pray karma will bite those individuals in the butt for all of that. JHope was working so hard and was exhausted only to receive that amount of hate so he was going to step away from the group, but JHope said when he told JungKook he was leaving JK sobbed and clung to him and begged him not to leave. Also, RM said he fought for JHope to stay and worked very hard to convince the Company that BTS needed JHope. In the end JHope came back because he trusted the members.
That sounds right, I always went off the Burn the Stage Documentary ( when Jk had gotten really bad and fainted ) the Members sitting at the table, Jhope Said he had already left I thought and RM talked the Company into letting Him back saying That BTS isn’t BTS without Jhope!! I do remember Jk bawling his eyes out though and Jhope saying He came back cause He trusted the Guys!! I could be wrong as Well, Army since DNA Era and I still get confused on which Documentary certain things happen in !!
@@amylou3340 thank you. I got a little confused too because JHope did say he had already left. Perhaps RM had to persuade BigHit to take him back. I get so angry when I think about how heartbroken and hurt JHope looked in his vlog where he expresses that maybe it’s time he takes a break.

19th? 😂😂😂 I think it's a bit of an understatement but we'll take crumbs of respect ig 😅
@@ablindinglightthatnolonger8379i think it’s because it’s a western award company and there are other artists that have been around longer. personally, i agree that they deserve higher. but that’s still a very big accomplishment for a south korean boy band :)
I think I heard they were the only group on the list. Not sure if that is true but that's what was said in a video about the list.
Mijn beste (slechtste) Engels en we spreken beiden Nederlands (ik ben van België by the way) 😁
Bedankt voor de info, groetjes aan België (Kevin de Bruyne beste passer)

Guess what!

Jimin and V were only 17 - just 2 years older than JK; they were still babies, leaving their families for the first time.

BTS are a force for good our world has been blessed with. It might sound extreme or an exaggeration, but in this world of cynicism, senseless wars and evil dictators (and dictator wannabes), they brought light, compassion, love, self-love, and a positive energy that made an entire movement of young and old, all races, all creeds, all cultures, all countries become ONE as ARMY.🥹

RM and Suga signed in 2010, J Hope, Jin, JK and V in 2011, Jimin in 2012!!!!!

He made it to express everything he feels about us. I love him so much. He's the purest soul ever,💜🫰🏻Everyone knows the army from the word "Borahae", it is a distinctive word that refers to the army, Taehyung gave us Borahae ". Why purple? Purple has different meaning for BTS and ARMY.
V of BTS made a phrase, he said "purple is the last color of rainbow. It means i will trust and love you for a long time" So we show our affection to each other by saying "i purple you" or "보라해" (Borahae)" whose words at the UN and WH were shared by reputed org. and people, whose quotes are powerful and deep,.. I am never surprised or question his perception and intelligence.
I remember RM saying in one of their BE-hind stories: "Kim Taehyung the man who rejects what's normal" and this really shows how unique he is

Taehyung has a number of jazz songs!
Here in the Philippines have been experiencing extreme floods just days/week ago and the bts army fanpages collaborated with different charity group for donations, the fandom is like no other.
The last song was Forever Young. They added that sound of ARMY singing (in Wembley) to their song 'For Youth'.
That song in the studio with jhope is called " ddaeng ".. Super fun song.u may check it Out.. 😁
And also about jhope leaving the group,,actually in the past bts had been on the verge of disbandment many times following hates, criticism.,struggles..at the begining stages..when already released few of their hip hop songs.. Im glad they were seen by the global people..what their own country was unable to see..
that was not ddaeng, it was feather by nujabe.

Wrong!! V is idol of Idols. Get your facts straight
@@cusegirl5 facts is on WIKIPEDIA
The Cultural Conservation Society awarded Jimin a plaque of appreciation in 2019, for performing buchaechum, a traditional Korean fan dance, during the 2018 Melon Music Awards and helping spread the dance outside of Korea.[85] In October 2021, he became the first idol to spend 34 consecutive months atop the brand reputation ranking for individual boy group idols[86] and the only one to top the overall ranking for three consecutive years.
Jimin is often cited as a role model by various idols in the K-pop industry, many of whom try to emulate his style of dance, mannerisms, and stage presence; media outlets have called him the "Idol of Idols", "Idol's Bible", and "Rookies' Bible". Artists who have cited him as an influence include Arthur of Kingdom, Bic of MCND, Kim Si-hun of BDC, Woochul of Newkidd, Hyunjin of Stray Kids, Wooyoung of Ateez, Lim Se-jun of Victon, Huening Kai and Beomgyu of Tomorrow X Together, and Ni-ki and Jay of Enhypen.[87][88] British internet personality Oli London underwent 15 cosmetic surgeries by 2020 to resemble Jimin.[89]
Jimin has also been acknowledged beyond the K-pop industry. In 2019, Award-winning director and photographer Gus Van Sant named Jimin as the artist he wished to work with.[90] In 2021, Olympic figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu shared being a BTS fan and mentioned Jimin as a source of inspiration for his dance movements on the rink.[91][92] In 2023, Ryan Gosling gifted Jimin the guitar his character Ken used in the movie Barbie. Gosling gave Jimin the custom guitar as homage for jimin's Permission to Dance outfit serving as inspiration for one of the outfits Gosling wore for his role as Ken.[93][94]
Also….in various magazines…i cant put it all here. Which cave have you been?
IZE magazine wrote a lengthy feature article highlighting Jimin as an "Idol of Idols."
"Perhaps that fierce life pattern created today's Jimin. He stood out as irreplaceable in BTS. Isn't the beginning of "Blood, Sweat & Tears," the turning point of BTS career, Jimin's voice?"

Jin can play guitar, a little bit of piano, sports and has a black belt in taekwondo
Suga can also cook like jin, played piano since he was little, did bboying(breakdancing)before his accident

I would love a Q/A session of you guys!!! 🤩🤩
Maybe some army knows better than me, correct me if i'm wrong :
Fun fact about rm, he took TOEFL test every year just because he felt bored..
Fun fact about Suga, once his parents threw away all his notes (collection of songs) but he said it's fine because he kept it safe and sound all in his head
Fun fact about J-Hope, he kept dancing for 3hours after the audition ended, it made bang shi Hyuk PD impressed so much..
Fun fact about jin, he is always goofing around but a bit intimidating when he is being serious that the members and the staffs immediately respect him
Fun fact about Jimin, he has "never mind" tattoo on his right chest because he loves Suga's song with the same title..
Fun fact about v, he can write draw play tennis etc with both hands (ambidextrous)..
Fun fact about JK, he joined BTS because of rm and he stayed in BTS because of jin (he almost left because he missed his parents, but jin sometimes brought him to have meals at jin's house)
I think its when staff put a camera in the room and left it with jhope and he dance for hours himself without them watching 😊
@@noviaprabawanti6089 true..
We appreciate ur videos💜💜 dey a filled with the BTS and Amry love💜💜💜💜💜
Thanks KasumbaWinnie

WHAHAAH ya think?😂😅
@@bereasonable8018 I couldn’t agree More!! I can’t imagine BTS without any of them, V said it best BTS is 7 He asked us to Love all 7 equally
@@amylou3340 Hoseok spoke about his departure from the group before debut in episode 3 of the documentary "BTS Burn The Stage".
@@orchid1766 That’s right that was around the same time in Burn the Stage that Jk was unwell and fainted!! I thought that was the same episode in Burn the stage they were in Chile I thought?!!
