There’s an alternate ending where max opens his present from krampus and he looks at omi and she looks at him while the rest of the family is just talking and laughing and it pans away from the family like in this but instead of being trapped in the snow globe they are free , he just leaves the bell for max as a reminder .
I had a mixed reaction to this movie - but i quite liked it back then, and today i still like it. Your reaction remembers me of my own back when i watched it for the first time. 😂
I really liked this movie I think it's very cool that they adapted the german folklore of the krampus, so it makes sense that Omi (which is the german translation for granny btw) speaks german (the actress is austrian). And if you didn't know there is some kind of "Krampus - Parades" in some parts of germany.
I saw this movie when it first came out in theaters and liked it. I was so confused why people hated it?? But I'm glad it seems to be getting some kind of comeback now though! I watched it again last year and the other day, might be an annual thing. I suggest watching Better Watch Out. I just watched that as well and really enjoyed it!
Fun fact my mom actually got a baseball thrown at the back of her head by teens she was mad meanwhile the teens were laughing till they stopped once she arrived in the aisle 😂

I liked this movie but Krampus’s design is a little disappointing. I love it all the way till his face. Just looks like a crappy mask. After such good designs from all his minions he’s frozen in a good mouth agape position?
Well the "mask" Krampus is wearing is actually Santa's ripped off face, that's why it's static. Atleast that's the idea behind that design from the comic ...
@@carloscallins7846 a little too early for a remake to me. Now a sequel that takes place with the same krampus just a totally different family and scenario could be pretty good.

I had mixed feelings towards this movie years ago, I wasn't too far or gave this movie enough credit at the time, but it's actually pretty good.
